For me it's lucatiel in dark souls 2. Watching her start as a proud warrior of mirrah, throughout the game slowly succumbing to the curse, then at the end of her quest line, she says to you "my name is lucatiel. I beg of you, remember my name. For I may not myself..." then she dies off screen like most npcs when you reload the area. It crushes my soul every time.

I gave him a fitting final fight, using Dane's Footwork. Unfortunately for him, said battle only lasted about 30 seconds. But I'm sure they were the best 30 seconds of his career.

I felt bad I had to fight him too. Cool and interesting character. I also felt bad that my Uchigatana +25 Unsheathe stunned him pretty quick in like 2or 3 hits and I killed him before he finished his war cry to start the fight 😅, he didn't even move from the spot he was standing. I forgot about we get his innards as an item though. I need to bring them to Jar-Bairn in Jarburg (yes, I looked up what the hell you do with the innards while typing this).
i wish they gave him a bit more health, when I fought him it was over in a couple of seconds. Maybe on purpose since his jar was cracked and about to give way.
Alexander is falling apart. He's no longer in his top shape anymore.

I wish they had made him fight better.
I know it’s a part of the character theme and all that, but he really only has jar moves and some weak punch attacks.
He doesn’t feel unique, despite being the most unique npc.

a fair fight should be both side fighting without buff or both side has already buff
NPC in Elden ring can drink potion and summon buff tho, plus this is what Alexander want and what Fromsoftware intented
@@Elilymo her build uses buffs, that's when it's at it's strongest, she have invested resources into that, it's part of her strength. By your logic you can say Alexander is not using weapons and neither should she.

Every FromSoft sidequest just ends with the NPC dead (and usually suiciding for no reason). So tiresome
