It's crazy to thnk that it took Conan almost 30 years to finally arrive at the interview format he's always wanted all while being able to do dumb, funny comedy bits at his own terms.
the generation that truly admired his talent was yet to be born. Now we get to rebel in his purest form.
Very true. Earlier I didn't watch him much. Used to feel like a mix of natural and scripted. Here it feels all natural.
Is it just me, or did Conan sound a little like Joe Rogan in his speech pattern when he asked the first question.
@@yacobzwho tf cares?
It took the world 30 years to be ready for him.
Marshawn and Conan's friendship is the gift that keeps on giving.
Like it was good in the beginning, but turns into an STD? Im not sure you understand that metaphor.
@@PostPatriot1978 You may know a different definition of what a "gift that keeps on giving" means, but it can also mean "[a gift] that provides the recipient with endless enjoyment or a long period of usefulness." That's what that term's primary meaning has always been to me, as a native speaker.
What are you talking about?
@@meelybug1239
It’s a joke, buddy. You should know this considering you left a comment on a comedy podcast.
I love it!!
Conan is such a natural with the podcast format, not surprised of course, just thrilled!
So true, his comedic style is what any podcast host needs. Just talk about anything that comes to your mind 🤷🏽♂️😂
Thrilled
Yeah it's almost like he's hosted a TALK SHOW where he interviewed guests 5 days a week for over 25 years. I'm shocked
@@DrVonNostrand ….that’s why he said he was…. Not impressed……
@@DrVonNostrand 🤣
Incredible chemistry between Conan and Marshawn. You can tell Marshawn feels so comfortable talking with Conan.
Marshawn and Conan were meant to sit together and talk.
Just finished listening to this episode of the podcast and I must say Marshawn is really a humble, witty and has comedy chops. His laid back personality is really a good fit with Conan's. It is a tandem that we didn't know we need. I hope they do more projects or even interviews. More power for Team CoCo!
Marshawn is the Oaklandest Oaklander in the history of Oakland. Love him!
Marshawn's episode of Murderville was my favorite (Conan's is also great, of course) - he is friggin hilarious.
Detective Bagobitch! :D
Agree. Marshawn should be up for a Emmy for guest role. He completely understood the assignment in his episode. Just took the ep away from Will.
I just watched both of those a couple days ago, extremely funny the both of them
Still want a Conan Visits Oakland with Marshawn as his tour guide
he will stick out like a sore thumb
@@firstlast8258 It would probably be as awesome as when he visited Harlem.
@@firstlast8258 like everywhere. He's 6'4" and bright pink
That would be dope
I would love to see a comedy skit of this happening. Imagine Key and Peele doing this if their show was still around
i can already see it 😂😂😂
i wanna see that so badly 😂😂
Javaris Jamar Javarison-Lamar yelling at Hingle McCringleberry to holler at his cousin and then get off him 😂
Slap ass!
Too soon😭
Marshawn is effortlessly funny. Would love to have seen Norm interview him.
His guest appearance on “Brooklyn Nine Nine” kills me every time 😂
Marshawn knows exactly what he's doing. The dude is smarter than how the world perceives him.
Most people I know think he's brilliant. He's a national treasure
He went to UC Berkeley (aka Cal) for college. Call it what you want for an athlete to attend there, but if you went to school there, you're definitely no dummy.....
beast mode
Who perceives him as not smart?
I had no idea he was that clever and articulate.
The fact that Marshawn got in on the Ground floor of the Seattle Kracken Ownership Team shows his Business Smarts...He is set for life.....We in Seattle will never forget his contributions to the Seattle History.of Sports.
Never in my life would I have thought Conan and a football star who hated talking to media would somehow have an amazing friendship, and this all started over a Mortal Kombat game many years ago.
This pair of love and friendship is a true thing. It cannot be made up. I have so much respect for both of you.
Conan's podcast is a gift to listen to. He really knows how to ask interesting questions that gets the guest going and builds really strong jokes out of it. Marshawn is so friggin funny lol
I love the flow of the uncensored conversation and people being themselves without being all uptight like in network talk shows.
Conan and Lynch were on murderville. Great show.
Lynch's was my favorite episode. I loved it when he forcefully removed the bat from the bad guy's possession. It's almost like he's done this before in real life.
Marshawn is actually really funny in person. Met the dude 5 years ago in Seattle at some grocery store 😂
I hope he does more of these. Really miss his show!
Conan asks the questions every one wants answers to.
A podcast in front of a small studio audience is actually genius. I just wish I could watch the full episode right here on UA-cam.
I'm a Brit who's never watched an NFL game in his life, but I really like Marshawn Lynch. He's hilarious and I hope to see more of him.
Go and watch some of his UA-cam highlights - awesome player. Also, watch other videos of him interacting with Conan. Love the video playing games.
@@tuckerfrd1 yeah for sure. I think even someone with no knowledge or background in the NFL can appreciate those “Beast Quake” moments
Marshawn’s career can be summed up in one sentence: They should have handed off to Marshawn.
@@ScoreFromAugusta
I am a rugby fan so sounds like something I’d get a kick out of as well tbf.
@@tuckerfrd1
Just watched his touchdown against the Saints in 2010 (I think it was referenced in this episode?). That was pretty dope.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Marshawn is funny as hell and he don't even know it, he's just being a real G
In high school football, as a fullback, I was on the bottom of a few of those piles. Let me tell you it is not fun. The weight can be crushing, and you can't breathe, and you get real claustrophobic. Before he started joking, you could tell how serious Marshawn was about it.
As a kid I once got both hands stuck in a wrapping paper tube. I taking that, multiplying it by my social awkwardness and adding 300 pounds on my chest.
Yeah it's no joke. Used to just focus on my breathing and wait
You're right. Your telling dudes to get the "f" off me. Your talking to your middle school buddy you have not seen in awhile.
They can do serious damage to you too. I had a roommate in college who was a football player for our school and he reported if opposing players were playing dirty they’d try to gradually twist your legs in the pile and that can result in a torn ACL.
@@WildNIrish 100%, dirty players don't care as long as they get the W.
Dude it's incredible that of all people Marshawn chooses to have an interview with, it's Conan. Just an incredible thing to watch. They have a chemistry.
Marshawn really should do an Anthony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential type of book about the behind the scene in NFL. Oh the stories he'd tell. 😂
Marshawn is a for real good person. 100% genuine and funny as hell
I wanna SEE this every week. Love the podcast! ❤️
Love the video aspect can we get full video podcast interviews here released the next day type thing👀
RELEASE THE FULL PODCAST ON VIDEO TOO, please! I miss seeing Conan
How can I upvote this so it rises to the top? 🧐
Conan had always been one of the best interacting with guests. This is a nice change of pace where they can be even more authentic off of TV
Beast Mode is awesome. I always admired his skill but I became a real fan of his when he was forced to attend all that stoopid pre-Super Bowl press crap and just kept saying, "I'm only here so I don't get fined." That was funny as hell. He was generally polite with press but I guess he just doesn't like to play their silly sound-bite game unless it's on his own terms.
So, if anyone in the comment section has not yet watched Muderville on Netflix, first of all, what is wrong with you? Secondly, Marshawn and Conan had THE FUNNIEST episodes. Honorable mention to Sharon Stone's episode.
EDIT: I just HAD to throw in Kumail Nanjiani's episode after someone in the comment section reminded me of how great that episode was. PLEASE include his in the mix, if you watch the show!
Murderville sucks.
I watched the first one and somewhat enjoyed it. But I don't know any of the other guests so I didn't feel motivated to watch them. Are they as good as the Conan episode? I might watch them regardless though, since I have a massive crush on Arnett 🌝
@@EmanDeMoan Imo, the best of the episodes are Conan, Marshawn, and Sharon Stone's (She's so good)
I love the show. It's based on the UK show called Murder in Successville - it came highly recommended so definitely watch that if you haven't!
Yup u nailed it...
Conan never fails to put a smile on my face. He's a fantastic comedian.
These guys need to have a regular schedule for interviews becuase it's solid gold every time.
If this is what the HBO series turns into, I won’t complain
few remotes too
I think this is just the "post covid" format for the podcast, now that they don't have to zoom
So happy! To see this!! More more more
Thank you
This was one of the best and funniest episodes yet. Love Conan..
This was an absolutely fantastic episode!!!!!
I feel like these two are friends lol especially after the clueless gamer episode lolol
That man is a beast and a stand up guy
Conan and Marshawn have a great chemistry. I’d watch a show with them starring.
Upload the full video podcast!!
Please upload full video podcasts #teamcoco
I love the live audience and Sona's laughter
Good interview
Conan’s podcast team please put full videos up for podcasts the algorithm on UA-cam would love and we would too
Wait are Conan's Podcasts coming to Video? Heck yes
Marshawn barely spoke to the media and they hated him and he’s the funniest personality to come out of the NFL in a long time
I will love to see this every week , unfiltered , uncensored and unscripted ..
So glad they finally got Marshawn in the podcast seat! For those of you who haven't watched him on Arnett's new show, I highly recommend it.
Conan thank u for “coming back” lol !! 💪🏾❤️
Wish I could see more of these two guys Conan goes to the town
One of the best combos..loved their Clueless Gamer episode
Keep em coming coco!
These two are gold together!
People don't give Conan enough credit for his interviewing skills, he rolls with the punch's so flawlessly, the wit is insane.
Trust me everybody gives him his due
please post more of this.
I love seeing Conan laugh like that. Lynch is hysterical.
Team Coco, please start filming all of these. Thanks
Never heard of Marshawn Lynch until he took the service cart for a joy ride back in college at Cal during a game. That video kills me every time 😂. Been a fan ever since.
I just saw Conan on Murderville, and about to watch the episode with him on it.
the PC with the CB, love it
How have I not seen this, this is classic...
2 of my favorite people together again!
More! I need more vids from Radio Row!!
In grade school football, pile-ups sucked. Kids would pinch you, pull your leg hair, poking and gouging, one kid kept a tac in his glove, another a nail file. People are crazy.
Don't remember when this happened, but some kid's father sharpened the helmet snaps to razor blade sharpness.
This was in the news.
I heard this also happens at baseball games, when the players rush out of the dugouts for fights.
Beast Mode has a great sense of humor 🤣
Thank you
"It's like a community down there."
😂
Marshawn is hilarious! Natural comedian. 😅
We want the FULL VIDEOOO
So I've been listening to Conan O'Brien Needs A Friend podcast since the beginning.
Is he now videotaping the pod??
This is a first for me.
Hey, thats "Todd Carrington-berg-son-field".
As a Seahawk I've always had the top of love for Marshawn, 💚💙!!
🤣🤣🤣 at a whole community down there... 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Conan is the best!
THIS IS AWESOME 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
I would say classic movie lines at the pile. Some Jim Carrey "Cable Guy" or "Ace Ventura" or something
Conan is the best interviewer
Conan and Marshawn are so different but they work together perfectly
These two were so funny on Murderville.
Marshawn comedy timming is gold, he should really be doing tv.
Great question! Marshawn is the realist person on the planet and Conan is the greatest of all EVER!
Finally marshawn and conan again 🔥🔥🔥
It’s Beast mode and coco mode.
Marshawn was pretty good in Murderville, really enjoyed his episode.
That man said he “busted a few knocks down there”😂😂😂 IYKYK
does that mean ejaculating?
These are the two people I'd like to see most on an episode of 'Hot Ones'.
Conan and Marshawn
That was a hilarious story. Dudes scheduling appointments to hang out in the midst of a pileup.
Where are the FULL Video Podcast episodes? Or do they not do that?
How was this a year ago already? Life goes by pretty fast and if you don't stop...
"i think i even buss a couple knocks down at the bottom of the pile" 😂😂😂
He Said He Probably Bust A Couple Knocks 😂🤣😂🤣
Marshawn should have his own show. I love his interviews
It's like a community down there. 😆
Marshawn Lynch MOB!!!! He’s the best. Love his persona love his swag the man’s a legend, stud back THE BEST. Conan’s laugh is hysterical!
I always said Mic-up every player and let it play live! Although every player is excused & immuned for anything and everything they say!
