I Seen him sign autographs were ever he goes , I live in the pacific northwest every were he goes he is doing some kind of autograph session , hanging out with unprivileged kids etc. He is a very nice approachable Person as long as you do not stick a mic in his face without letting him know first , he does not like the routine questions , all he wants to do is have a conversation not do interviews. , and the best team mate ever.
+GreenOnionBrother Well ya know he did kinda sign a CONTRACT saying that he would speak to the media. Which means he is getting PAID to speak to them. In other words, it's part of his JOB to speak to them.
Jason He IS talking to the media, but on his own terms. Also, he is mainly paid for falling 8 yards when he is tripped, or has 6 defenders literally on him.
He is doing it this way, because he, and many other active and inactive players have been burned by the media when they purposely ask questions with inflammatory subtext to make a big deal out of when the players don't notice said subtext, or bite and say something stupid because it hit a nerve.
How cool of him, "I play a team sport" I'm sure lots of pro athletes on teams pretty much think they are the whole team
he gets a bad reputation because the way he talks (closet racism) but he really a nice funny dude and he has a good grasp on life, but he definitely likes to be the center of attention

thelankytank No, you got it all wrong. That's ALWAYS the way he treats the media during the season. He doesn't grant interviews. At the first SB he granted Deion Sanders an interview and that was it the whole week, and the rest of the football writers collectively wrote a letter to Goodell to complain so this past SB they threatened to fine him 100k if he skipped media day. So what that he grabs his crotch in game? He doesn't care for the press because they portrayed him as a thug when he played for Buffalo so Carroll's always given him his space and let him skip post game interviews.

For someone as good as he was, it's great to see how humble he is. All of his interviews and everything. The interview about his 64 yard run against the saints he said that when he watches it he can't even believe that it's him and watched other great runs and thought they were much better than his. He seems genuine and humble and you don't see that often anymore (cough cough cam newton)
Being *|that|* humble gets a little bit sad though - almost like you're never happy with yourself; always think you need to keep getting better even though if you were rational you would understand you should genuinely feel accomplished for once
But yeah, it's probably better to be too humble than to be too egotistical, and I'm sure Marshawn *|does|* feel genuinely accomplished to an extent

I'm a devout, 2nd Generation 49er fan. And I like Marshawn Lynch. He's the classiest person on that entire team. Doesn't trash talk, doesn't show-boat (except for the one time he grabbed his crotch), doesn't gloat, doesn't troll (which most of Seattle's players and fans have made into an art form), and doesn't brag. The dude just plays football. I like that.
I wish all of Seattle was like Lynch; fans AND players. Just quiet and respectful. The dude even shakes hands after a touch-down! How cool is that?

Vladpryde How can you say that "most of Seattle's players and fans" have made trolling into an art form? The player part makes absolutely no sense and the fan part is way over-exaggerated. The majority of Hawks fans (like me) are good people who aren't bandwagoners and don't troll 9er fans or any other fanbase for that matter. The loud obnoxious people are in the minority, trust me. I've been a fan since I knew what football was in the late 80s (4 or 5 years old).
It's not fair to generalize an entire fanbase on the actions of a handful of idiots. It would be like me saying that all 49er fans stab people in parking lots at stadiums. Messed up, right? I also don't know where you were going with saying the players are trolls. Sherman is the only one you could classify as a troll but he uses it to get into people's heads to throw them off on game day--Nothing wrong with that. And again, you're judging an entire team with an active roster of 53 by the actions of one person. It doesn't make sense and it's not fair, there are a ton of great players/people on the Seahawks, and to say the majority of them are trolls is disrespectful and wrong.
All that being said, I absolutely agree with you on Lynch. He's the most real, genuine kind-hearted person on the team, and all of his teammates have said the same thing about him. Great dude, does a ton for the community and is an absolute beast on the field. He's the best RB in the league in my opinion; he has a strength and willpower that I've never seen in another player. By the way though, he has definitely grabbed his crotch more than once, but when you rip off a 79 yard TD run, trucking half of the players on the other team along the way, you can grab your crotch all you want! :) Good luck to your Niners this season.

I hate the Seahawks. I hate their annoying fans who popped out of nowhere in 2014. I hate everything about their organization and fanbase. But no matter how hard I try... I cannot hate Marshawn Lynch. This dude is so charismatic, I find it hard to believe anyone actually dislikes this guy. Not to mention he truly is a beast on the field.
Lazyboy5298 Every Fan Base is the same. If the team is fun to watch people will watch! And if they suck, then the fans are a bit more quiet. Still fans tho! Always have been there and always will be there. Just like the Seattle - Steelers Super Bowl, where the refs were Steelers fans and many bad calls were made upon Seattle costing them the game. The fans were there and cheering just like now.

If you are gonna hate an organization based off of band wagoners that jump on after successful seasons, say that you hate every organization that wins.
