Hey girl just wanted to give you a tip I don’t know if you know but the electric forest map actually changed and you’re gonna want to avoid The north entrance unless you wanna get camped in blueberry, there is no GA camping over there it’s only camp hush, RV camping and group camping, go to the south entrance. :)

tip for thursday arrivals - the campgrounds actually open at 12:01 AM (thursday morning) not 12 noon on thursday. so if you’re down to set up camp in the dark; you can get everything set up, go to sleep (or not lol), then be ready to start your day on thursday without missing anything ☺️

Friends of ours strap there tent and canopy to the roof and didn’t have any issues!
I've seen people on redit say they've been pulled over for something simular, apparently Indiana police are ruthless.
@@TheNinjaRageX Indiana is a state you want to avoid at any cost from what I've read lol seriously people say theyre driving hours out of their way to avoid even crossing it
So I'm curious. For GA tent only, do they let you drive in, unload, and then park at the lot or do you have to park and walk all your stuff to camp?

Hey girl! I’m a MI native and I’m only driving about 3 hours- if gates open on 12 on Tuesday should I try to get in line around 9am-10?
I don’t think it would hurt! I’ll probably get there around the same time 💚
If you get there too early they might turn you away and not let you line up to avoid cars backing up to the highway. With arrival being spread out over three days and the majority of people arriving on Wednesday and Thursday I wouldn't be stressed about arriving closer to 12, or even at 12 if you come on tuesday.
And if we arrive Tuesday, we get assigned a spot? We can't choose?
The employees on-site will guide you toward where they want you to camp, you don’t get to choose a spot.

Unless you wanna sleep in your car! (Which I've done lol) // camping space in GA is approx 12' x 30' which includes the space for your vehicle

Not in my experience but it’s been 3 years 😅 I always bring bug spray just in case though
