    I wish that you would have shown us your finished project. I would have really liked to see it. Thanks for the tips. I have a new high efficiency washing machine and it is harder to felt in than my old one.

    Great demo, thanks for sharing it. Rubber kitchen gloves protect your hands, and if you get the ones with a bit of texture on the palms, they also help with the agitation needed for the felting.

    It should work on anything knit or crochet with 100% wool. I would recommend testing a small swatch first to make sure it will felt, but there is no reason why crochet items wouldn't felt too.

    Why do you have to add soap to the water?

      You don't HAVE to, but it helps agitate the fibers so they felt.
