Just a few days ago, I was thinking about whether an old race will be shown leading up the Sachsenring. Knowing that some like 2006 or 2014 had already premiered, I guessed "2009 would be nice to rewatch again", only to come home today and find out it was actually shown! Much nicer quality than my TV recording from 14 years ago as well :)
I used to record every race from ‘03 to around ‘15. I would re-watch the races a few times, then record the next round over the previous race. I wish I would have invested in more VHS tapes and kept every race.

Incredible battle if Lorenzo has become a MotoGP legend he owes it to all those epic challenges with Rossi. Vale had experience on his side but Jorge won 44 races on Yamaha and only Rossi did better with 56
Lorenzo’s 9 seasons,3 titles and 44 wins compares well to Rossi’s 16 seasons,4 titles and 56 wins … no other team has enjoyed such a rich balance of success with two riders in the same era through the entire history of Grand Prix motorcycle racing … Yamaha really we’re enjoying the spoils with their embarrassment of riches!!

Lorenzo is that kind of person who will never gain so much love respect and love from people. Marquez is more less same. At the end of the day, Lorenzo walked away from MotoGP and didnt achieve as much as Valentino anyway and Marquez...? Who knows. Everything looked so rosy for him, but then something changed and its already 600 days since his last victory and it didnt look well for him after 6 crashes during the weekend at Sachsenring..... So, Forza Vale! He will stay in people hearts forever!
I love Vale but don't acts like he never been a dick, he kicked Marc deliberately in Malaysia & accusing him for aiding Lorenzo in 2015 title fight. My analysis was Vale loses his cool & acting silly he just need to keep calm & stay on track. It was a deserved punishment grid penalties brought to Valencia

Notice there's no wings no launch control and the best riders in the world using the right hand to control the bike . No electronic equipment interfering . They did have a map or two for traction control to keep some fuel and tyre but they had to do it all by skill . Brilliant eras right there . After stoner left he said within a few days the bike won't do anything he wants as they had given it too much electronic packages it was making racing miserable for him .

@@alanarmitage6706 definitely rossi has more wins, he started 4 years earlier. But from the time Lorenzo arrived. It was for sure that the M1 and him are match made in heaven. You can go and check data from the season 2008-2015. Compare all the time sheets. You will find consistent timings of Lorenzo. His style was so smooth. Butter smooth

A truly golden era and the prettiest bikes to every race in Moto GP
