Fantastic and exceptionally usable tones! Thanks for both the demos and the walkthroughs of each of your custom presets. I enjoy my MG-30 as well--it’s an incredible piece of gear.
@@JorgeSalasGuitar You are welcome. So I assume that when playing live, you plug your MG-30 directly into a PA, correct? I used mine through an ill-equipped PA for band rehearsals recently, but didn't always get the tone I wanted. Part of that was the nature of the lousy speakers and the guy controlling the PA settings, I think. But I want to use it live and would love to hear your thoughts about your live setup. Thanks again
@@4stringkingstf make sure your settings are on “Studio Direct”. When I play live, it sounds killer. I take it touring and through every system I’ve plugged into, it sounds great.
@@JorgeSalasGuitar when I set up patches at home, they sound great. When I plug into the PA, it sounds like a tin can full of hornets, all buzzy and way too bright. I try and compensate during the home setup, but I end up tweaking EQ when I get to the venue. Come to think of it, I end up doing that with real amps too. Maybe it's just the difference between home and gig volume levels... The Fletcher-Munson curve at work...
@@JorgeSalasGuitar I always use studio direct, because I have never run into a guitar amp. I really should try it out, I have a couple of stereo guitar amps with line inputs/stereo effects returns. I've had the MG-30 for about a year and never once attempted it. Just so happy (usually) with this thing, I never really felt the need.
Hi really nice patches and congratulations for your channel. What kind of monitor do you use for the MG-30? I wanna replace my combo Marshall valvestate with two studio monitors for my MG30.
These tones are so juicy man!!! Especially that high gain patch, man what a tone! Glad I've discovered your channel. That riff you were playing on the gnarly cowboy patch is that from a song? If so, could you tell me what song it is
Hey man! Thanks for watching! Yes, that riff is an original riff from my band. Unfortunately, that song isn’t recorded yet but if you want to check us out, here’s the link: www.damianisaccband.com/
@@JorgeSalasGuitar Hey man! Thanks for noticing my comment in this awesome video, and thank you for your response! I'm actually planning on buying this pedal. Are these patches of yours available for free downloading?
I'm gonna do a video on that subject I believe if you are using scenes is less noticeable, and or using external pedals, I'll notify you when it's uploaded. @@JorgeSalasGuitar 😀
I just got this pedal, and out of the box, and with the firmware update it sounds horrible! Please share your awesome sounding patches, and any tips on how you tweak the sound!

I love it. A real-world demo with real-world, gig-tested tones. Great job!
They are gig-tested and sound great! ONLY thing you have to adjust during soundcheck is the noise gate which is very easy to do. Takes seconds.

Mg30 is fantastic for the price,
Really is
Omg, i love it.. i´ll try it right now on my mg30... and a request, can you do a preset sounlike Friedman Jerry Cantrell style please 🙏
I don’t play the NUX much anymore but if I pull it out I will! Thanks for the comment! 🙏🏼
Was just about to buy a Studio Vintage 20 but not anymore ;)
Killer patch!! MG-30 it is :)
If you’re recording, get a real amp. Nothing beats it. If you’re playing live, I’d go NUX MG-30. Just my two cents.

Hey Jorge. Have you had a split millisecond of silence when changing presets live? I’ve run into that problem myself. Do you know how to fix that?
Haven’t played it in a while but I think you’re correct. I don’t think there’s a way to fix it. 🥺

Yo uso el Fender para el clean!
Nice setup, have you try it live? Is it fast enough no lag when switching between Scenes or up/down between patches?
Yes I only use it live :)
@@JorgeSalasGuitar Very nice Mr Salas. Thank you indeed.
Hey was just wondering how do I create a blank preset? Like do you have to overwrite a presaved preset or you can create another blank one
I believe you have to overwrite one 😊
How about your global setting? The pre eq and output mode eq? Will love to share it
Haven’t touched it!
