Presentation: Lackluster Vehicle: Moonshot! Gimme gimme gimme that Z goodness! It's got to weight 3200ish lbs and starts at 400hp! This thing is going to be a beast!
Yeah, Thats been the problem with the 350Z's is the weight. My Touring is 3,800lbs, yes, that is correct, but it still moves and takes corners like a beast!!!
The fact that Nissan built this from the ground up and Toyota had to ask for help from BMW is truly remarkable. I’m a Toyota guy, but this Z is straight 🔥🔥🔥.
...ummm, they used the 370Z's chassis and wheel base...it's not all new. Toyota and BMW collaborated to build a new sports car (from the ground up). Nissan used bits they already had and tweaked them. It's like building a house from the ground up (from slab) vs leaving the walls up and redoing the interior/exterior in an extensive remodel.
Although final pricing will be announced much closer to its on-sale date, the new Z is expected to have a base MSRP starting around US $40,000. Thank you for your interest!
Even for a possible price point that's almost the same as the new Supra, the Z will definitely be the best at the competition. This indeed lives up to the legacy of its heritage. There will always be hate towards it, and i maybe biased, but the performance numbers speak for itself. Thank you, Nissan, for keeping the Z alive. Good luck with the new beginning, and I can't wait to get my hands on one!

Glad that the new Z has a classic body line style and new life as a fairlady Z. Now please make the new Pathfinder a rear wheel driven instead of FWD. The new Nissans can have a have classic style and heritage. But please bring back the real Pathfinder. Just like you brought back the Z.
Sorry, friend, the Pathfinder is what it is from now on. When you sell double to triple the units with even that ugly last generation model than you did with any of your previous gen models you're not going back. And, honestly, I've followed Nissan for a long time and the Pathfinder has always been a vehicle of circumstance and one that Nissan has used to chase trends. The 1980's had S10 Blzers and Jeep Cherokee XJ's as well as Ford Broncos and Nissan wanted to get in on some of that action so they put an SUV body on their Hardbody truck platform. The next gen saw them chasing the Explorer. The next gen saw them wanting to add a three row SUV so they stuck a bigger body on their Frontier platform. Then they had to go unibody and get even larger to keep up with the Highlanders and the Explorers as they changed. The newest Pathy is just another metamorphosis to keep it somewhat competitive with the three row family hauler class of mid size SUV. Believe it or not the Pathfinder was not introduced to compete with the 4Runner nor did Nissan ever chase the off road market. They just went along with the trends at the time and they still are. The newest Pathfinder is a great vehicle but it isn't a super tough off roader and probably never will be again. Nissan could introduce something like the original but I doubt they'd give it the Pathfinder name. The modern target market for Nissan knows the Pathfinder as Nissan's biggest three row unibody SUV and they don't give two cents about it's past.
@@davep2945 thank you for the response. For me the Pathfinder has always been a benchmark for others to follow. And having 4 Pathfinder's ranging from an 1987 2dr Pathfinder to having 3 1991, 1995 ,1993 4dr Pathfinder's they have always been great offroad vehicles. But I see your point now thank you for a new point of view.
@@ernestquinones7967 No problem. The first gen was a great off road SUV but that was sort of a happy accident being based on another great little off roader the Hardbody truck. I know because I owned two of them, a 1987 and a 1991, both 4x4's. If I were in charge of Nissan when they decided to really go after the cushy, mid size three row market with a larger unibody vehicle back in 2013 I would have just introduced a new model and reserved the Pathfinder name. As the Xterra was discontinued and memories of the less impressive second and third gen Pathfinders faded I would have then re-introduced the Pathfinder as a more rugged and adventure focused SUV based on the upcoming Frontier. But since Nissan stuck with the Pathfinder name on those fourth and now fifth gen models I don't think they will ever go back.

...they (Nissan) needs to race this car in every series it qualifies for. GT-LM, TCA, TCB, Sportscar Challenge Series...everywhere.....
Take my moneyyyyyyyy!!!!!!
Its 40 grand for the people who are wondering
I was just a little kid when I first fell in love. My dad owned 3 of the classics, all green. Yea that's what I said why green. But I don't even remember the age. At that age I didn't even know it was Nissan lol. All I know was Datsun. Years and years later I step into a Nissan dealership. Just looking. And right in the show room I see it. A sport touring 370z. The sell guy knew it when he seen face I was in awe. Then he says you like get inside. I'm like are you serious not even in my dreams. I get in it and literally perfect. That feeling when you get inside a car and it's like fate. Let's take it for a drive. I will make sure if you like it you will take it home. As soon as I drove it. I knew it had to be mine. I called her my black demon. Orange swede seats . I literally drove it like I stole it. I didn't even cross my mind that this legacy was already inplanted in me from my father. I had no clue the car was the new model version from my dad's car. Then I knew it was fate when I finally realized. It's been a while since I drove one. I been waiting for this one. Fate calls once more.
I can hear the turbo on this video. I hope they keep that sound and release in California.
All that and no price announcement, COME ON NISSAN!!!
$10k
Although final pricing will be announced much closer to its on-sale date, the new Z is expected to have a base MSRP starting around $40,000. Thank you for your interest, Phil.
@@nissanusa Thank you Nissan! That's a fantastic price! Already undercutting the 4 cylinder Supra by around 3k!
@@philspaghet BMW Z4 Zupra to be exact
@@ACommenterOnUA-cam You know, I don't even mind the BMW part, I just hate that it's auto only
What will the price difference be between the sport and performance trims and will the manual be the same price as the automatic?
Pricing for the 2023 Z will be announced closer to the vehicle's on-sale date next Spring. A member of our team would be happy to reach out to you once further information is available. We appreciate your interest!

Hopefully they’ll put a CVT in it 🙏
They won't.
Why ??
LOVE the new Z!!!!!!
Nice. Next, a new generation Nissan GT-R, please?
R36 was announced a while ago. Keep up.
@@NikkiTaLance Troll lol. It hasn't even been announced by Nissan yet; only speculated and assumed there will be one, depsite Nissan's recent financial troubles. The R35's debut in 2007 was quite a long time ago, I'm ready for an R36 to be officially announced and revealed though. 🤙
this was so cool, i love the introduction too
The return of the Devil Z soon.
I'm saving up for this car, how much should I expect to pay for this>?
We appreciate your interest in the all-new Z! Final pricing will be announced much closer to its on-sale date, but the all-new Z is expected to have an MSRP starting around $40,000. Nissan bring back the Silvia. I know you have it in you. I used to own a 98’ 240sx and I absolutely loved the that car. Please bring the Silvia back with a nice turbo 4.
watch it be one of their new all electric cars 🥴
I have a 98 240sx, owned it since 2000.

So what was new about the final production? The grill is still the same
duck tail spoiler, smaller wheels
Reflectors, lights, spoilers, ports in the interior. They did say the prototype was basically 95% of what production would look like.
@@mistamaog wow mind blowing… i was hoping they would work on the body design more…. A smooth wing would have looked better.. as well as the whole body paint matching the color of the car rather than having yellow black tones.
Body lines are a bit different. Looks better than the proto.
@@EM-km8em you realize that’s a 2 tone color scheme, there’s leaks showing solid 1 color scheme
Great Nissan.
The Supra ain't got squat on this baby 😎👍👍
