Is it possible? Perhaps if Sherrone Moore stops: 1. I’m a huge USC fan. The fact that we lost to a terrible awful Michigan team, means that we truly deserve to lose every game the rest of the season. Fight on
I think people focus too much on offense in deciding how good a team is because michigan is not an awful team they just win ugly. Michigan actually has significantly more NFL players on their team than honestly everyone they have played so far including texas. Their whole defense will probably be drafted one day whether after this season or last season. Michigan is a good team and Minnesota only came back last week because of a few lucky momentum swinging plays. (bad hands to the face call on 4th down which bailed them out and gave them a td, orji throwing a pick and missing a wide open edwards for a td, and a fluke punt return which set them up) michigan blows out minnesota if these things don't happen and all of a sudden everyone views them as a natty contender again
Anyone who picks washington in this game doesnt understand the sheer talent gap michigan has in the trenches. While washington may be a better team than minnesota, they are not a physical team like them. Michigans defense got tired in the 2nd half because of the offensive inepititude leaving them on the field for so long and that allowed Minnesota to outphysical them. Washington is like usc but worse. Usc kept it close because they had the NFL talent to challenge MIchigan. Washington does not have that. They have an oline that has already given up a lot of sacks getting ready to face a Dline with the big 10 sack leader, arguably the 2 best defensive tackles in cfb, and 3 other pass rushers who will be in the NFL. Washington wont be able to run on michigans dline and they will be forced to throw against PFFs highest graded cb duo which includes arguably the greatest cb prospect of all time. On the other side of the ball, Washingtons defense has struggled to stop the run against physical teams and guess what michigan is? A physical team who can run the ball. Usc and minnesota knew michigan couldnt throw yet were still unable to stop the run. Mullings is one of the best RBs in the country and washington fans know all too well about donovan edwards. Expect MIchigan to win here in an ugly game. 24-10 Michigan
