I just bought one for my trip to Hawaii! Great quality and value. Can't wait to use it for future trips....Would highly recommend for anyone who's looking for a carry-on!
Thanks for this great review! I haven't traveled with it yet, but i just bought the 24" version of this as a 2-week checked bag. I agree that nearly everything about it feels premium (especially for the price). My only concern is that, even though the latches have the appearance of "beefy" metal, they're actually made of plastic on the exterior. I think they'll hold up ok, but if they get slammed hard enough, I'm sure that plastic could crack. However, if that were to happen, I imagine the internal, metal locking components would at least stay intact.
DO NOT BUY THIS CASE. My Hegent 24 case has been on 2 round-trip travels via Delta and is already falling apart: 2 of 4 of the corner protector/reinforcements have fallen off, and the remainder of the case is degrading quickly. This is not durable luggage. Particularly after communicating briefly with Level8 customer service, I cannot understand how anyone would interpret the language of their Warranty to rate any other rating than the lowest possible by any measure. Please consider updating your review.

Not bad at all. Our Level8 that gets checked has scuffs but they magic eraser off.
