If anyone is struggling to move photos using a flash drive (dual drive) being recognized (pixel wants you to format it) I have a free solution but it takes a little work: 1. Copy the memory stick to your computer. 2. Insert memory stick into pixel and format it. 3. Copy all the data back onto the memory stick from the computer. 4. Now when you insert into the pixel everything on the card will read okay. In my experience using the app memory zone (free) also helps you with view your media and move it around/transfer it easily but not necessary if you don't want to. You can use the factory app "files" instead.
How do I get them to move over the computer in full resolution? I know I did it before, because I have one that I moved before that's much bigger than it arrived when it moved over with a bunch of others today. I want them full resolution? What do I need to do differently? When someone texts me a photo, should I "Save to phone" to get it to be one of the ones I can move over? Or is that reducing the resolution?

Is the phone unlocked?
@@HelpCloud I went into the USB settings menu like you mentioned in your other video and that worked, I just didn't go back and delete this comment haha.
THANK YOU SO MUCH I'VE BEEN STRUGGLING FOR LIKE 2 HOURS NOW OMGG YOU'RE A GOD
You betcha!
Thank you for the helpful video. It's just the information that I was looking for.
If anyone is struggling to move photos using a flash drive (dual drive) being recognized (pixel wants you to format it) I have a free solution but it takes a little work:
Thanks for the additional info!
Oh that background is nice at the start of your video do you have a link to that pic plz ?
That background is one that I photographed.
Very Helpful... Thank you! Yes USB Cable is important. You never know!!!

hi, i thought this video would help me, but instead i'm more confused. I had visited your other video where you speak much slower and got the gist of it. But now I would like to know how to transfer from my Android phone to , i guess you would call it a portable usb or "scan disk" . anyhoo, my pictures are in this google thing or place, I can click on the pictures, but how do i make the transfer???? Please help me and if you please , can talk a bit slower. I had a head rush trying to keep up with you. thank you very much.

Good deal! Losing photos and videos is awful. Lost 2 TB of them once.....
When I plug in my usb from Droid to pc I do get notification noise but when I goto Explore PC I do not see my phone... pull down menu nothing is there.... I do see it in the USB devices next to the time on the lower right... but that's it... I'm thinking I need an app to transfer pics to my pc...
Is the phone unlocked when plugged into the computer?
OMG thank you sooo much for this video I've been struggling really bad with trying to figure out on how to do this
You're so welcome!!
thank you sooooo much! this was very very helpful!! :)
Glad it was helpful!!
if i cut and paste it, itll free up space (on my phone) right?
Correct! Cut and paste will remove the file from the phone and place it on the other machine.
@@HelpCloud I did cut and paste and all the pics are still on my phone. I shut off the phone and restarted and they are still there.
So incredibly helpful. Thank you!
You're so welcome!
