Great tip with the heated pin Bellhopper !But if that is a nylon cage bearing i would not heat that until it seizes (steelcage bearings can absolutely take it) but the nyloncage dont like heat. And to pull the cases together with the case screws is not higly recommended, if you do so use more then two screws. That operation with two screws can either pull the thread from the magnesium case or may make the case half slightly crooked so it wont seal up or in worst case it lets the bearing out of its pocket and creats big trouble. Procedure works, but it’s quite risky. When i assembly cases in my shop i cool the crank in the fridge and apply medium heat onto case and bearing before i pull them together with a homebuilt puller made from threded rod and the centre spindle from a broken clutch. Took 15min to build and cost close to zero.
I knew you built awesome saws but I didn't know they were hot before you assembled them hahaha! That went so slick I bet you've done that a time or two. Keep the cool videos coming.👍👍💪💪😁🇺🇸

I take them apart and put them together the same way Hopper. Except for the bearing heater. Nice work man! Peace.
