"Cynthia" Preserving Shey's memory with an HHR BTC Ep. 13

- BUILT TO CRUISE EPISODE #13 Hear Cynthia's story of how her and Shey Cox met, fell in love, and ultimately built an amazing full custom bagged Chevrolet HHR. Shey passed in 2011, so Cynthia preserved his memory with a mural on the rear and continues to show the vehicle in his honor.
Cynthia describes what it took to change the HHR into a show-stopping Hearse, known as HHRSE. Shey Cox passed away in 2011, but his memory carries on through his daughter and his friends and family. Cynthia also tells us of his club, Explicit Concepts, and how she eventually became a part of Freak of Nature Car Club.

Since my father passed, I have debated building a memorial truck in his honor. Would you build a memorial custom vehicle for a loved one?
Do it. I plan on doing one for my dad with my son.
Yup. I'd do a 1970 C10. He taught me how to drive in one when I was 7.
My little brother is active duty been over seas 7 times now. My headliner is gonna be army strong i have a couple his patches and dress blue grad pic thats goin up there also. But i am in the middle of an all AUTISM SPEAKS THEME rite now.

Nice HHR I gotta say I have never seen a custom one before and it makes a cool little ride and it looks sick as hell! Last thing I need is another idea in my head.
It is definitely a head turner. Cynthia and Shey did an amazing job building a very unique ride.

I've been binge watching all of these and makes me miss the life so much. I was in some clubs in Vegas back in the day and moved here to North Louisiana, and it seems there are no truck clubs at all around here. I'm still searching... Hit me up if you know of anything. I'm in Monroe, LA. (northeast LA area)
Louisiana clubs seem to be centralized in the Southern Louisiana area. The larger ones may have members scattered across the state and not necessarily all in one area.
@@BuiltToCruise We need something up here! There are a ton of sick rides up here! Can you PM me a link to some of them or something? If nothing else, we might be able to get enough people here to start a chapter or something. I have made so many great truck-club memories and going on runs!

Wow what a custom HHR u got there. The graphics are beautiful! As for the air bag ride, up here in Pennsylvania that wouldn't work. The roads in this state are ridiculously bad! Hit a big bump or pothole the underside would end up damaged! Interesting turning a coffin into a big boom box! How many watts is the sound system in the HHR?

That is crazy I have the same your husband died from I stop everything I'm doing every day and thank God I went to the hospital when I did I have blood clots in both legs and one in my lung and I just so happen was feeling really bad 2 year's ago and went to the hospital my legs were swelling and hurting so I went and they found them and saved my life I spent a week and a half in the hospital I would love to meet her my dream car is a 49-51 Mercury lead sled full chop and louvered hood and trunk lake side pipes fender skits and gangster White Walls and hubcaps and a beautiful paint job not really set on a color only thing is it has to be a candy color

What happens when you 2004 rust bucket with moms life span and RIP on it dies or is wrecked?
I guess that memorial is gone, and memory.
It is just SUPER tacky and Super uncouth.
