Thank You Doctor. Listening to you, explain what is Arthritis made me feel a lot better. My pain started 18 months ago and I am 76yrs. Listening to your advice to keep active is the best advise for me. I swim, walk, exercise before I get out of bed and even in the afternoon, I also go to an acupuncture, after doing all that the stiffness doesn't go away. I am learning to accept it and move on, otherwise I am going to be miserable all my life.
This is absolute torture beyond anything imaginable, especially when you suffer from it from the thoracic to the lumbar, into the sacroiliac joints. If I wasn't on vicodin, gabapentin, morphine and Tylenol rapid release 4 times a day, the pain would be uncontrollable and constant, too much to bear living and has you wishing you were dead because you come to believe you are better off dead rather than suffer like that. If it wasn't for the painkillers, I wouldn't be living. Still, in a very real sense, it's a living death since my activities are severely limited. The doctor is right here when he said you have this pain for life once you have it. When I wake up, the pain is at it's worse because the more I rest in bed, though I need the rest and I always sleep with a heating pad for my back, still when I awaken, the pain hits me through the roof because my body has been dormant while sleeping. I wake up like a corpse with rigor mortis in my back and associated pain in my limbs and joints throughout my body.
Me too, my epidurals and ablations have not worked and unfortunately cannot take meds orally , they kill my stomach and bring on my IBS. You keep hopping for something else , if you have the money.Mornings are the worst.
I have Scoliosis of the lower spine, a Specialist I saw a month ago mm said he wouldn't operate mm it is too dangerous, but I have read there are other things o can be done, I am in agony all the time mm and can't walk for over a year without crutches, would an MRI Scan shows what's rong and whst can be done
I was just told I have this I’m only 39 😫 physical therapy helps me I’m still trying to figure out what causes my episodes of pain because I can go without pain even years then I would do something like a stretch like yoga or I was trying one day some weight training and I start hurting so bad !

Feel soooooo sorry for you . At 23yrs you should not be having any pain. Go and see a Neurosurgeon (Back Specialist) and don't give up. I pray for you.
I am 46 I have severe arthritis in my upper back. When inflammation is at its worse, it causes slow breathing. I was injured in the job in Alabama, I have two bulging discs. And a calapsed disc also. No Insurance will help me due to the severity of my injury. Can anyone help me before I end up in a wheel chair. Or should I just give up and wait for the inevitable to happen
Not eating carb helps with inflammation. My knee pain went away once I went no carb diet. For spine arthritis, I use stick on massager and exercise. I am also careful about how long I sit. Don't lift anything unless it's very light.

I’m about done with fighting this pain 24/7.
Lol how's that working now 2 years later? It doesn't end... the pain never ends.
I wish there was a support group for this disease
We should make one.
How to be active if any activity causes pain?

@@paulinesalter7452 MRI AND CAT SCANS SHOULD HAVE ALREADY BEEN DONE FOR YOU, FIND A GOOD SPINE SURGEON, THEY'LL ORDER THE TESTS.
