- For a long time, I have been drawn to Namibia.Vast desert landscapes, interesting culture, extreme adventures, and going into the unknown.
It was the unknown that grabbed me the most.
It was so remote, so foreign, and I had no idea what to expect. When we first landed we were thrust right into that unknown as we climbed one of the tallest dunes in the country, flew above flamingos, and tore through the most rugged coastline where the desert crashed into the ocean. This episode will take you through the first 3 days in Namibia and transport you to a land you never knew existed.

Hi Zach. Did you go through the hassle to get an official approval for your drone from the Namibian Aviation Authority? Did anyone at the airport asked for any paperwork regarding your drone? I’m thinking about taking my Air 2S but based on what I found, the process looks much more complicated than it is in the EU for example.
No I didn’t get it approved. We flew it out in the desert away from everything. Might depend on your guide how strict he is. But no problems at security
