If you enjoyed this, I seriously recommend the live performance of "Drowning by Numbers" by the Nederlands Blazers Ensemble which is also available on UA-cam.
Thanks so much for uploading this strong live performance by Michael Nyman and his band, though I wondered where & when it occurred? Have only seen the version of "Knowing The Ropes" on which Motion Trio, Michael Nyman, & Michael Nyman Band collaborated.
@@andyfindon punchiest baritone sax playing on UA-cam! Simon Haram must feel like he’s been using a jackhammer after these gigs! Sounds brilliant. Top band!
All of his music for Greenaway is orgasmic!
WONDERFUL! Give those violinists a medal!
God this is so uplifting! Absolutely beautiful.
Fortunately I started listening to Nyman years ago and happily when I hear his music I reminded of my youthful discovery, all is good
JUST DIVINE ,I´M SPEECHLESS IN FRONT OF SUCH A DIVINE MARVEL,GOD IT´S SO PARAMOUNT ,THANK YOU MICHAEL NYMAN
When you sit down and have the feeling of looking at a masterpiece...
Este tema de Nyman,en sus versiones en disco y en directo,es inolvidable, gracias por compartir!
Simplesmente sensacional !

Thanks for your recommendations. I enjoy it very much!!!
Went to see the Michael Nyman band live at the Festival Hall in London back in 2013 (I think). All I can say is it was an incredible experience....!
I love his music
When I listen to Nyman, my ears really enjoy themselves

演奏家達の気が抜けない曲で、コーダ迄の懸命さが伝わる。まるでデゴイチが走る様で、次第に高まる興奮。楽しい音楽だ!
It's from the "In Concert" DVD (2011)
I love it
GREAT, Once again Michael is Style, Bye for now love Alan
Какой восторг!
Watching time as in the moment people's are wonderfull
I think Nyman is not really happy with his wind section at 1:39
The baritone sax is terrible, blowing too hard (and out of tune?). He also plays too loud and distractingly later during the haunting french horn solo
You're wrong, Michael was very happy with our performance on this!
why is Dr Evil playing the sax on this?
I cultivated that look - thanks for the compliment!

Is this from a Greenaway film?
♥️♥️♥️

Christ this rocks
Искал, искал и вот нашлось.
psichedelia
Excellent piece of music spoiled by BAD mixing - the bass sax wes overpowering. There are perfect versions available.
True, but I think it wasn't just the mixing. That sax player is struggling
Not the mixing. This was the desired effect -mission accomplished!
The rest
So you repeat the same musical figure for four minutes before finally introducing an honest to God melody? Sorry but I just wasn't impressed.
I wonder if in a couple of weeks or months you’ll have a tune stuck in your head and you won’t know where it came from then you’ll realise it’s this
@@user-ez9is7lb9p I had this tune for 14 years stucked in my head. I finally found it and can't handle this level of hype.
