- Thanks for checking out the video! This series of videos (with enough interest), will go over start to finish on what it takes to build your own VTEC mini at home. This was done all by me in my garage with no previous experience in building a car. Links to all of the videos I used will be spread throughout the series, as well as parts links, suggestions, and much more. Thanks for watching. Please comment below if this was helpful, or what topics you want to see.

Dude super excited!! I just bought my Mini this September and plan on doing a VTEC conversion. Definitely looking forward to this series!
Hopefully this can be another resource to help you out! It’s exciting stuff getting ready for a build but it can be overwhelming at first. One step at a time!
I can't wait!! great job my dude
Looks like the boy dune great. Looks stunning, you got it just right. Original caricature, but with Honda Power
Thank you
Very interested in your series!
Thank you!
Subbed, let’s go
Subed. just got my 93 mini converted to carb about 3 weeks ago and planned on doing this conversion but the 1275 rungs great so the conversion is on hold but will be doing it in the future.
Enjoy the 1275 as long as you can. I wish mine had that motor originally but I still enjoyed and tuned the heck out of my 998. They are fun cars and they work as long as you keep up with them. The vtec conversion comes with a lot of small headaches and teething issues so ensure you drive the heck out of your mini now!
Is it possible to show us your mounting points?
Which mounting points are you referring to? Engine, subframe, transmission etc.
how about aircon compressor installation?
I can’t do that since I don’t have air conditioning 😁
Hello! Random question, where are you located? Do you happen to be located in Southern California by chance?
I am in Colorado.
I live in socal and wanting help on my mini vtec build, I have the motor in the vehicle. Just need to do the wiring as my next stage.
