Watch the whole video! I saw the "slide out the filter here" part, said to myself "hah - easy peasy", stopped the video and went down and cleaned it. I have lots of things with filters here at the house, there is always a little trick and now I figured that I knew this one. Felt good. Oops, hang on - the filter light stayed on. People that watch the rest of the video will know how to turn out the light ;-)
I just spend yesterday almost $200 dollars on a new one. Today i found your video. I have a very hairy dog. That was disgusting when i open it. Thank you so much!
My filter keeps saying it's dirty when I literally took the whole dehumidifier apart and cleaned everything. I'll pull out the filter and it'll be super clean.

I'm so grateful I found this video. I've had this for years. I had no idea there was a filter. It has been sitting in storage for some time and has a mildewy pool room kind of smell. I sprayed it with vinegar and cleaned the reservoir tank and was ready to toss it. Thank you! 🙏
Excellent! Thanks so much for sharing this info. I've got 2 of those dehumidifiers running in my basement for a number of years and am embarrassed that I've never cleaned the filters. As you say, pretty strait forward but some of us don't know. Know we do!
