  • The chair made from primitive tools was forgotten in a neighbor's warehouse, I restored it to look like new and more beautiful than before. Thank you for watching the video.

Absolutely has a new lease on life thanks to you. It looked ready for the burn pile but can now be used for another few decades.

I Was Waiting for the Family of Spiders to Pop Out when You Panned the Camera down to Look at the Cobwebs (Only one Bug and No Spiders)! Great Job! You Really Impressed Me with Your Skills. This was not Easy and Not for the Amateur. You Showed that You Can Bring Something Back from the Wood Pile. That Was the Point of This Demonstration. I'll Bet if You had Wanted to Keep Its Weathered Look, You could have done that as Well! I would've been Happy with that to! I Do Hope Other People Get that. Purists, Phooey!😊😊😊

YOU are the one doing the work. These are your decisions. Make them boldly.

Because of the sanding of the joints I imagine not one is a tight fit now, if they ever were. It's age was the attraction and that's now gone.

    Hello 🙋‍♂️.
Personally 🤷🏼‍♂️ if that was my stool
I would have just given it a good
clean🧽 then - with a very, very light
sanding would have added some wax
to give the wood some nourishment !!
There was nothing wrong with the stool.
You have sadly decreased the value
with regard it’s age !! Old things are
meant to look 👀 old - that’s why they
are old !! Look at your granny 👵.
If she went and got a huge amount of
plastic surgery - do you think you
would still think 🤔 it’s your
    granny 👵 ??
We have a saying where I come from:
Not everything a hammer sees 👀
    🔨 is a nail !!
    Thanks 🙏
    James 🫶✌️

I could spend an hour explaining to you that not every antique is worth money and scraping and sanding the ruff off and making something useable again is more important than the value of something old.
