Hi Towtrucker, good to see another video! Stay safe! I think the woman with the Virginia tag was full of BS. I renewed my tags in August, the BMV was open using social distancing procedures, hand sanitizer, and masks. Ohio also can be done online also.
Down here in Texas you can do your Tags online as long as you have gotten a passing inspection beforehand. I just go and do my Inspection, go online and pay my tags and have them mail them to me.
Great job as always brother... all these out of state plates is amazing, I know GA has laws like we do over her in MS, you have 10 days to change DL and Registration when you move, these people are trying to get over on the state by keeping the old tags and registrations, If you get caught living/ paying rent and taxes in our state and not swapping your DL and tags over within 10 days it’s a Heavy fine and impound... When a person relocates/moves to another state, they have to register their vehicle in that state, regardless of the previous situation. There is no reciprocity for vehicles. Tags must be turned in, and new tags/plates will be given, upon proof of insurance and valid license.
Some people on here are being so rude about the woman with VA plates. They ARE NOT giving the tags out! Ive been stressed out because my husband is deployed. He paid his tags two months ago and has yet to receive his new registration. Quit judging when you dont even have a clue people. Come on.
