Great video Sheri. Quick question - how cool is the hot glue? it looks like it's firmed up well, so how long have you allowed it to cool? I can see me getting the timing really wrong lol
Thanks for sharing this information Sheri, I found it very helpful. One question, do you need to put a final resin top coat on after the gold foiling/leafing is dry to protect the finish?
Oh! I've been using gel base coat for nails when it comes to burnishing. What's the difference in quality between UV resin and UV-resistant resin? Will UV resin yellow faster because it cures so fast?
Hi Sheri, thank you. This is what I can use to edge my tray with copper foil. I am going to make the glue quite thick and will do a top coat of resin but hope the copper foil will still be sticking out top to make the edge of the tray. Any suggestions for what to use to protect the foil?
Brilliant tutorial. I love those ideas. Thank you so much for sharing x
Great tutorial Sherri, been a while since I have been on UA-cam much. Was fun to see your smiling face again
Thank you 😊

I was pretty much placing the leaf on right after I did the hot glue line. Then once I had the leaf on I used my paint brush to press it in.

I like to. Just give it that extra layer of protection.
That use of baby powder... totally new to me. Thank you for the idea.
