I saw live yesterday when F23 flew from church oak where she had been perched for hours, how she held her wings out straight 3 times then let them back down before she decided to take flight. ❓❓Did that appear strange to u❓❓I’ve never seen her do that and it appeared to me she may be doubting her ability to fly. I am concerned that she didn't eat today. But she seemed very strong when she finally flew. Hoping and praying for the best, but SWFL says on their FB page: "Now our priority shifts to the wellbeing of M15 & F23 as they most likely contracted the virus as well and will be fighting off symptoms the next 7-10 days." I hope and pray they can fight it off.
That really shouldn't worry you, the camera can't follow them everywhere they fly off too so none of us would know when their last meal was. Food is the last thing any human or animal wants if they're fighting off a flu/illness. Any doctor or vet will say don't worry about food, focus on fluid intake. Also remember these are wild animals, it's normal for them to have to go days in some cases not eating as a meal is not guaranteed. Sometimes the hunt is a success and other times it's not. Their behavior seems pretty normal. They are alert and flying around with no issues.

She looks so lost, but with my untrained eye seems to appear as doing well. I pray the same for M15 and I hope they will show up together to comfort each other and for our comfort. Avian Fly! I still find it difficult to accept the loss of two little angels. My grief can't pass so quickly. I hope that adult birds have strong immunity and will cope with everything and they'll delight us with their babies for many years. I pray for both of them. This couple is like relatives to me. I finally lost it, the press conf hit me hard, but seeing the gorgeous Lady of the Pond lifted my spirits as I watched her for a long time. Now I can't stop crying. I'm sick with worry about M. I need to see him. I have hopes for her, as she vomited Tues, so likely fighting it and she flew strong to the pond, doing her signature tight turn, spoiling the wind from under her mighty wings. Wings which recently protected her precious E's, but were no match for the awful virus. I'm so sorry, Mama, I know you're confused and empty and I hope you have M to comfort you. I pray to God for mercy and a miracle for these two beloved Eagles M15 F23 ... Jesus knows the love for them and how they heal us watching them. I watched the CROW press conference and was prepared for the Avian Flu diagnosis. We all continue to grieve with M15 and F23 for the loss of their two precious babies. I will keep praying they are able to fight off this virus. I cannot imagine this nest without them.

Has anybody seen in M15 today I was so grateful to see F23 today that was a sweet blessing I just pray that they get through these next few weeks healthy and stay healthy and be able to have more babies staying in prayer for everybody I know all of our hearts are just hurting but God loves you and loves them babies and they're safe in his arms now and flying around

I am so glad to see F23 in Tree at Church Office today. F23 and M5 been through so much, especially M15. M15 i think is taking it harder for he staying at the area at perch tree where they spend the night together .

Thank you so much bumble - I have been sick (physically) ever since E25 passed away. I think the stress of seeing both Eaglets die and having M15 & F23 exposed to the avian flu caused my immune system to break down. I am trying to rest as much as possible - I took a covid test so it isn't that thankfully! Take care -lets keep up the prayers for M15 & F23 ♥🙏

I totally understand, this has not been easy for many of us at all, seems like we’re all falling apart, however, for you especially, it is constant with you with having to go through the horrible videos right now, every hour on the hour. Now our world has been shattered yet once again. The uncertainty of not knowing the survival of our precious Eagles is beyond comprehension. I wonder if Prichette, could send some one every day to walk the big pond and make sure there isn't a dead bird around it or some other raptor. We're all hoping that these two wonderful parents do not succumb to thus dreadful disease. Since Covid 2020, the entire world is suffering and so is our wildlife and domestics. And this week, the people of Prichett, the commentators, us fans, members of CROW, and the vets tears are over flowin! Lets hope for the best for next 2 weeks. It seems so quiet now, even thought the eaglets were not loud. My heart will always have a spot in it for this family. I truly feel like I've lost a family member, and I've never even seen this family in person. I hope these birds can feel the vibes from all of the support and love we all feel for them. Poor babies.

I heard the bird flu is going around now. In West Virginia they had to close down a poultry. They check your chickens at home and to check if any of them have any symptoms of sickness.

I'm very worried that we haven't actually seen M15. Mods post on the SWFL banner that he's perched out of the cams view yet several photographers have been at the nest site for the past two days and haven't laid eyes on him. I find it odd that he hasn't been back to the nest but I'm praying he's ok and that F23 will continue to hang in there 🙏 🦅❤️🦅❤️

I would really like to see M15 tomorrow with my own eyes - or at least a few photos from the ground photographers. I don't think SWFEC would say he was seen if he wasn't. We know both M15 & F23 are exposed to NPAI so it is very important that we watch them both as closely as we can!!

Hello Kimberlee there was no video of M15 today he was not seen on the cams. One photographer reported he was seen in the morning with F23 and again right at dusk.

I wish I knew who to even reach out to with our questions about such a new illness. I wonder how long this new, terrible strain of bird virus could live inside of whichever partially-consumed remains it came from... The forms of flu we all catch as humans can linger on just about anything, for longer than i used to think! & Infected ppl can spread it so far from where their body occupied a space - microdroplets from a sneeze, or a yawn 😩 like, is it still gonna be a risk for as long as there are bodily fluids in that prey which carried the illness to the babies? I pray that we don't see ANY creatures on that nest until a lot of time has passed! ESPECIALLY M15 & F23 ❤
The CROW update said the virus can live in soil for two months. On other surfaces it only lives for two weeks------less if the weather is warm and dry. Fortunately the nest is in an very open, sunny location that stays aerated. The nest should be fine for next season's babies.

F spent yesterday & today taking pond sips, on office oak branch & church tree branch from 10am - 6pm. It's doggone strange not seeing her headed back with a nice big lunch, but so far nothing. Hi Lady Hawk❤️🙏. It sure was great to see F23 today at the Ponds edge with her legs/talons in the water just standing there looking around just wondering what she’s gonna do that day.❤️🦅🥰. I just wish we could see M15 but, as long as he’s doing good from the people who can see him off cam then that’s all that matters to me.❤️🦅🙏. It will be nice once the both feel up to it to be seen together out in the open will make my day happy. I’m still praying for them and I also hope too they watch what they eat too. I am so glad to see F23 in Tree at Church Office today. F23 and M5 been through so much, especially M15. M15 i think is taking it harder for he staying at the area at perch tree where they spend the night together .

Thank you so much bumble - I have been sick (physically) ever since E25 passed away. I think the stress of seeing both Eaglets die and having M15 & F23 exposed to the avian flu caused my immune system to break down. I am trying to rest as much as possible - I took a covid test so it isn't that thankfully! Take care -lets keep up the prayers for M15 & F23 ♥🙏

I totally understand, this has not been easy for many of us at all, seems like we’re all falling apart, however, for you especially, it is constant with you with having to go through the horrible videos right now, every hour on the hour. It must be exhausting! Everything was going so well and smoothly until this came along. Loosing the E’s one right after the other was horrific and devastating to say the least. Now our world has been shattered yet once again. The uncertainty of not knowing the survival of our precious Eagles is beyond comprehension. I wish there was a place we could go to comfort one another. Your videos and the ability to comment has been helpful. Seeing F23, and now this morning, M15, gives me some hope. I wonder if Prichette, could send some one every day to walk the big pond and make sure there isn't a dead bird around it or some other raptor. We're all hoping that these two wonderful parents do not succumb to thus dreadful disease. Since Covid 2020, the entire world is suffering and so is our wildlife and domestics. And this week, the people of Prichett, the commentators, us fans, members of CROW, and the vets tears are over flowin! Lets hope for the best for next 2 weeks. Theee two do not find another dead duck or something else.

It seems so quiet now, even thought the eaglets were not loud. My heart will always have a spot in it for this family. I truly feel like I've lost a family member, and I've never even seen this family in person. I hope these birds can feel the vibes from all of the support and love we all feel for them. Poor babies.

I'm thinking & hoping that the adults surely have stronger immune systems than babies do? It's troubling there's been no known sighting of our beloved M15. I'm holding on tightly to awareness that it's jot uncommon for this parenting pair to hang out on different perches. Two days is a long time though 😬. I heard the bird flu is going around now. In West Virginia they had to close down a poultry. They check your chickens at home and to check if any of them have any symptoms of sickness.

I'm very worried that we haven't actually seen M15. Mods post on the SWFL banner that he's perched out of the cams view yet several photographers have been at the nest site for the past two days and haven't laid eyes on him. I find it odd that he hasn't been back to the nest but I'm praying he's ok and that F23 will continue to hang in there 🙏 🦅❤️🦅❤️

I would really like to see M15 tomorrow with my own eyes - or at least a few photos from the ground photographers. I don't think SWFEC would say he was seen if he wasn't. We know both M15 & F23 are exposed to NPAI so it is very important that we watch them both as closely as we can!!

Oh LadyHawk, I just want to be her mommy and look after her. Sit her on my lap in the rocking chair singing her Pooh Bear songs. Offering good untainted food and fluids. And medicine as may be appropriate. To have her in a safe environment where she is warm and free of being chilled. And what of our M15. Is he isolating himself cuz he doesn't feel good? Am I just missing any video of him? My heart is very worried for both of them. God, please keep them safe.

Hello Kimberlee there was no video of M15 today he was not seen on the cams. One photographer reported he was seen in the morning with F23 and again right at dusk.

I wish I knew who to even reach out to with our questions about such a new illness. I wonder how long this new, terrible strain of bird virus could live inside of whichever partially-consumed remains it came from... The forms of flu we all catch as humans can linger on just about anything, for longer than i used to think! & Infected ppl can spread it so far from where their body occupied a space - microdroplets from a sneeze, or a yawn 😩 like, is it still gonna be a risk for as long as there are bodily fluids in that prey which carried the illness to the babies?
I pray that we don't see ANY creatures on that nest until a lot of time has passed! ESPECIALLY M15 & F23 ❤
The CROW update said the virus can live in soil for two months. On other surfaces it only lives for two weeks------less if the weather is warm and dry. Fortunately the nest is in an very open, sunny location that stays aerated. The nest should be fine for next season's babies.

today taking pond sips, on office oak branch & church tree branch from 10am - 6pm. It's doggone strange not seeing her
