@cathyh8561...Yes, he breaks it down beautifully & uses the context of scripture, not wild imaginations of this means that & so on. Too many folks trying to make end time scripture mean what they want it to or what they believe things mean. Dr. Barnett has read & studied this for well over 30 years. Will we agree on everything...probably not, but he's right on in most things & doesn't resort to off the cuff explanation of things.

When Paul says in Romans 11 "All Israel will be saved" he has illustrated "Israel" as the Olive tree, with its own natural branches plus the branches grafted in (believing gentiles). The branches already taken from this tree (once part of Israel) are no longer Israel, unless they too choose to believe in the Messiah and they too can be grafted back in. This brings to mind Jesus' illustration ("I am the vine, you are the branches.")

Based! So many people takes this passage to mean that there will be a mass conversion of the jews in the end times, but a careful examination of the text shows that this interpretation is read into the text, it is simply not there. In Rom 9:6, Paul makes a distinction between physical Israel and Spiritual Israel, and when he says _"this way_ all Israel will be saved", he clearly referring to Spiritual Israel, that is, all believers in Christ.

Gods election in the Bible is about people He choses to use in ways that He choses. The gift of salvation (entrance to Heaven) is offered to EVERYONE. This is how you get to Heaven. If you do this, God will forgive your sins because of what Jesus did and you will go to Heaven and you never have to worry about it.

WHEN GOD MAKES A PROMISE OR A VOW, HE NEVER, NEVER DENIES IT,...HE MEANS IT. God doesn't "change his mind" like he was one of us, after he's made a covenant, HE MEANS IT and will HONOR it forever. . He's made a promise to the Jews and he WILL KEEP it, that is - after all - the people FROM which Jesus -HIS SON- arose. Nice overview of these theologies. I hadn't realized how much was to it. Growing up in a fundamentalist church, I simply believed the individual was dependent upon God's Spirit to know when a particular usage of "Israel" in the Scriptures was implying spiritual Israel or the country/commonwealth Israel--you know, like we also believed God needed to specifically reveal to a reader if a passage in the Word was to be inferred literally or figuratively (so that people wouldn't be plucking out their eyes, etc.). That of course was based on Jesus declaring the eternally profitable parts of Word are kept hidden from all except those to whom He wills to supernaturally reveal it, sheer intellectualism not applicable.
Thank you for a concise. explanation.

That is correct my friend. What everyone needs to understand is that it is only Israelites who are saved, for ALL who are of faith are Israelites.
Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
The correct Biblical understanding of His people is that Jesus has one body which is composed of all people who have accepted Christ, be they Jews or Gentiles.
And the promise was made to none other than Abraham and his seed.
"Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ." Gal 3:16
So those who accept Christ, are Abraham's seed, and there is none other that will be saved; if you have Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and are therefore Israel, if you have not Christ, then you are not included in the seed, and are therefore not included in the covenant.
"For Christ is all and in all"
"Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all." Col 3:11; Also Gal 3:27-28; Eph 1:23, 2:15-16; (I Cor 12:13)

It's important to keep in mind why God called Abram and ultimately chose Israel. That was not addressed here though the pastor made an allusion to it. After Babel, when men conspired to build a temple to heaven, inspired by Satan's charge to ascend to the throne of God on high, their sense (conscience) of right and wrong was perverted. God chose Abram and took him out of a pagan city to set him and his descendants apart, through Moses to preserve His law (straight from His mouth, without any corruption whatsoever), so that all men everywhere would be culpable before God, since His standard would be borne throughout the ages by His people. Yet, it also had the effect of condemning us all, including the ones whose mission was to be the keepers of the very oracles of God. But God also provided through Abraham's descendants a Savior who would take on the penalty of their transgressions for people from every nation. That's what Jesus' death does in dealing with our own personal sin, i.e. the sins of the flesh, and the evil intents of the soul, and the deadness of our spirit toward God. His resurrection Spirit is what gives us a new life to serve Him.
But God also has to deal with the injustice of the nations that persecute believers and compel them to commit sin. These nations must be seized from Satan's control and transferred to Christ's reign. Jerusalem provides the venue for that under God's Messiah (Psalm 2). The remnant of Israel will not only see Jesus as their political Savior who has vanquished their enemies, but their personal Savior from their own sins, the one Whom they've pierced (cross reference "pierced" in Zech 12:10 with Isaiah 53:5). That is the very blindness that vast majority of Jews have today. They do not see Isaiah 53 as relating to their own personal sin.
Then, of course, Christ will deal with the final enemy of our souls, Satan himself, after which there will be a New Jerusalem in which there will be no more sin at all.

Don't like the word "obey". Sounds very "workish". We repent from unbelief to belief for salvation...not repent from sins for salvation, which you didn't address but most don't understand. We repent from sins for relationship. The Holy Spirit operates in each dispensation/economy in a different way but with the same message.

Exodus 1:1 Now these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt; every man and his household came with Jacob. 1:2 Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, 1:3 Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin, 1:4 Dan, and Naphtali, Gad, and Asher. 1:5 And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt already.

Preacher, love you, but you are in error here. Rev. 13:8-9 sees Israel repent JUST BEFORE God's Wrath (DOTL) falls in Zech. 14:1-2 where Israel gets sacked/conquered. So, they REPENT before the 1260 middle of the week. Not when Jesus shows up, thats NOT FAITH. The 1/3 who repent, 3.5-5 million Jews, flee to the Petra/Bozrah area where God protects them for 1260 days, BEFORE Jesus shows up. The reason it says ALL Israel is saved is its speaking about Israel as a Nation has been blinded, well yea, for nigh 2000 years that couldn't even happen, but INDIVIDUAL Jews were never blinded, that is why they are only blinded IN PART, as a Nation, not as Jews per se. So, ALL Israel are only saved once the Pre Trib Rapture happens and God send the Two-witnesses back 1335 days BEFORE all these wonders end at the 2nd Coming.

Did Paul say..."All Israel will be saved." ?
Romans Chapter 11: In its New Covenant context... There is no Plan B of salvation outside of the New Covenant Church in this passage. Plan A is found in verses 23 and 24.
In Romans 1:16 Paul said the Gospel was taken "first" to the Jews. This time period can be found in Matt. 10:5-7, and Acts 10:36-38, and Gal. 1:14-18. Many try to claim God never gave the Jews a chance to accept Christ, so there must be some Plan B of salvation before or during the Second Coming of Christ. Romans 1:16 proves they are wrong, since Paul said the Gospel went "first" to the Jews. Many ignore the fact that Peter addressed the crowd as "men of Judea", and as "men of Israel", and as "all the house of Israel" on the Day of Pentecost, when about 3,000 Israelites accepted the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. The Gentiles were not grafted in until several years later. This passage proves Paul was right about the Gospel being taken "first" to the Jews.
Were all of the Israelites "partially" hardened in Romans 11, or were part hardened and another part were not hardened? The answer is found in the "remnant" of Romans 11:5.
Paul reveals two different groups of Israelites in Romans 9:6-8. There is an Israel of the promise, and an Israel of the flesh. This is part of the context of Romans 11.
Paul speaks about the "remnant" of Israel in Romans 9:27. This is also part of the context of Romans 11.
Paul starts Romans 11 with two different groups of Israelites. In verse one Paul reveals he is still an Israelite, even after his conversion. Then Paul refers to two different groups of Israelites during the time of Elijah. There were the Baal worshippers, and there was the faithful "remnant". In verse five Paul says there is also a faithful "remnant" of Israelites during his time. This must be the Israelites who have accepted Christ, as on the Day of Pentecost.
Paul uses the two olive trees as a symbol of the New Covenant Church made up of believing Israelites, and believing Gentiles grafted together into the same tree. The unbelieving Israelites have been broken off but can be grafted back in through faith in Christ in verses 23-24.
Verse 26 is the problem for many modern Christians. What does the verse actually say, and how is it changed by many in the modern Church.
I have heard two of our nations famous preachers say the following.
"And then all Israel will be saved..."
I have heard another say the following.
"And all Israel will be saved..."
What does God's Word, recorded by the Apostle Paul actually say?
Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
The English word "so" is translated from the Greek word "houto", which is an adverb of manner, instead of an adverb of timing. Some have changed the word from "so" to "then", in order to change the meaning of the verse.
How will all of the "remnant" of Israel from Romans 9:27 be saved? The answer is found in the verses that precede verse 26 and are found below.
Rom 11:23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
Rom 11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
Paul quoted from the OT in referring to the Deliverer coming out of Sion to pay for sin. Did this happen at Calvary, or will Jesus die again for His people in the future?
Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
Verse 28 can only be understood by looking at how Paul started the passage. He started with two different groups of Israelites and he ends the passage in the same way. There are two different groups of "they" in verse 28. One group of "they" reject Christ and are the enemies of God, and another group of "they" are the election which accept Christ through hearing the Gospel and faith.
Rom 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.
Based on Luke 21:24b-28, the times of the Gentiles comes to fullness at the Second Coming of Christ. This agrees with what Paul said in Romans 1:16 about the Gospel going “first” to the Jews.

"Joseph {Ephraim & Manasseh} is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall:
The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him:
But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the
hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)" - Gen. 49:22-25
"My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips." - Ps. 89:34
Why would you think God would not or could not keep His promise...?
Jacob said, his blessings are "that which shall befall you 'IN THE LAST DAYS." (Gen. 49:1) not before…, not before the Assyrian Exile, not before Christ our Lord and not any time before… now.
Why don't people take God at His word?
"My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips." - Ps. 89:34
"But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel." - Matt. 15:24 "…and Ephraim is my firstborn." Jere. 31:9
"1 And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days." Gen. 49:1
All that is written must come true.
    X=2^n
Use that to determine the number of people present at any time in the past you are almost certainly related to... during that period.
Try… 10 generations… 40. 50 and 100 generations. 25 years each - BIRTH TO BIRTH. Son to Grandson, to gr. grandson..., to gr. gr. grandson...
"n" = the number of generations you are counting back. That's for births not deaths...
Figure 25 years average for each to be born.
Then go back to the time of Jesus and then 2600+ years for the fall if Assyria and the certain dispersal of the Israeli tribes of the 'Assyrian Exile."
If you don't believe the prophesies of The Bible... believe the Math.

All the prophecies are conditioned. Look at what Hulda told Josiah that he would die peacefully in his bed and not see the disaster. He died in the war against Egyptian king which was not what God told him. The fulfilment of the prophecies is conditioned by the actions of those about which the prophecies are transmitted. Israel abandoned God for idols, and later killed the Son of God. Israel is the church called the people Jesus earned for Himself.

@@georgianadarcy9072 You claim God is a liar… because God says:

And you say: "All the prophecies are conditioned. Look at what Hulda told Josiah that he would die peacefully in his bed and not see the disaster."
" ‘Therefore I will indeed gather you to your fathers, and you will be gathered to your grave in peace. (NOTHING ABOUT A 'BED') Your eyes will not see all the calamity that I will bring on this place.’”
So they brought her answer back to the king."- 2 Kings 22:20
But if you READ the whole discussion (Before and After) you see God is not - at all - talking about 'peace' with the world…"
There is no 'peace' with the world.
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you." - John 14:27
God is talking about 'calamity' FROM HIM and 'peace WITH Him.' It's all very personal. Josiah alone is being recognized as 'righteous.' Josiah has been assured of God's Mercy.
And He is telling Josiah that he will die… and he will die before… the coming devastation of Judah.
"I am about to bring calamity on this place… " (V. 16) "because they have forsaken Me and burned incense to other gods, that they might provoke Me …" (V 17)
      Josiah's 'peace' was with God.
      And his death was imminent.
As for the 'land' He say "My wrath will be kindled against this place and will not be quenched.’" And as we see throughout history even to this very day…, His 'wrath' remains 'unquenched.'
That was the Assyrian invasion (then at the door) followed by the Babylonian Conquest, followed by the Roman 'Diaspora' of which the 'eyes of Josiah' were spared.
‘Therefore I will indeed gather you to your fathers, and you will be gathered to your grave in peace. Your eyes will not see all the calamity that I will bring on this place.’ ” - (V 20) - 2 Kings 22:15-20
"Nevertheless, the LORD did not turn away from the fury of His burning anger, which was kindled against Judah because of all that Manasseh had done to provoke Him to anger. For the LORD had said, “I will remove Judah from My sight, just as I removed Israel. I will reject this city Jerusalem, which I chose, and the temple of which I said, ‘My Name shall be there.’” - 2 Kings 23:26,27
      Here's the fore-discussion:
"15 And Huldah said to them, “This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘Tell the man who sent you 16 that this is what the LORD says: I am about to bring calamity on this place and on its people, according to all the words of the book that the king of Judah has read, 17 because they have forsaken Me and burned incense to other gods, that they might provoke Me to anger with all the works of their hands. My wrath will be kindled against this place and will not be quenched.’
18 But as for the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the LORD, tell him that this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘As for the words that you heard, 19 because your heart was tender and you humbled yourself before the LORD when you heard what I spoke against this place and against its people, that they would become a desolation and a curse, and because you have torn your clothes and wept before Me, I have heard you,’ declares the LORD.
20 ‘Therefore I will indeed gather you to your fathers, and you will be gathered to your grave in peace. Your eyes will not see all the calamity that I will bring on this place.’ ” - 2 Kings 22:15-20
"My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips." - Ps. 89:34
I gave you copy and pasted scripture... you didn't even TRY to quote a scripture thoughtfully… You think you 'are' God… and you're little word is law…
The entire Bible says they are here and exactly where they were intended to be.
Revelation, "The Last Book of the Bible says they are here.
"Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. 6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Obadiah: (Latter Days Prophecy)
"18 And the house of Jacob (All Israel) shall be a fire, and the HOUSE OF JOSEPH ( Ephraim & Manasseh) a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it.

I don’t believe for one minute that Paul ever saw a risen Jesus while on the road to Damascus. He totally made it up. And just like Donald Trump’s stolen election nonsense, everyone he told that nonsense to, believed it.

We need to look no further than where Christ has led. The Old Testament is the type pointing to Christ the antitype, Col 2:14-17. Eg. The lamb, the priest, the shewbread, candlestick, even the temple represents Christ. St. John 1:29, 6:51, 8:12, 2:19, Heb 8:1,2. Rom 11, there is no dispensation for the Jews to accept Christ in the future, or to continue under the Old Covenant and Christians under the New! Christ call one and all, in Christ there is neither Jew nor Gentile Gal 3:28,29. Gentiles were engrafted into the Covenant with the Apostles, Heb 8:10, the 10 Commandments written on the heart, Acts 13:42,44, worship on Sabbath, were made one by blood of Christ Eph 2:19-22, not separated as we have it today because of Catholicism the great whore Rev 17:1,2,5, 19:2. God is calling the unbelieving Jews to only accept Christ, no need for a rebuilt temple to resume Old Covenant lamb sacrifices, and the Christian Church to come back to the Commandments, which breaking is a sin 1 John 3:4; sin is the transgression of the law. James 2:10-12, break 1 guilty of all, including the 7th day Sabbath, Saturday.

If the bible is the symbol of the tree of good and evil, then why are we taught to read and trust it because scripture says that Gods word is truth? The knowledge of good and evil is symbolising that people will become little gods, as we see progressing like wild fire, by the occult of the New Apostolic Reformation aka Mystism.

This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. [10] For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. [11] These things command and teach.
Plus, he makes a mistake that somehow Paul came up with the book of Romans and the other epistles on his own. I don’t think it is a mistake. I think he does that so his opinion and his knowledge matters as much as Paul. It does not.

God gave Daniel the end time vision and revelation, and he couldn't understand what he heard and saw. Thus, the bible was shut in Daniel 12:4 because he couldn't comprehend what the angel that talked with him was saying, especially about a Savior who would be cut off- it didn't make any sense, and about the end of the world. He was only praying for God to remember His people in captivity, who are nearing the completion of their 70 years in captivity. It was then the 69th week year, so God sent the angel to let him know that His people were not ready, and they wouldn't be able to return to the promised land- which will reject them, as they were cast out already because of unbelief and disobedience to the law of the land. In His mercy, God was going to play His ultimate card - send His Son to finish the work and restore His people. But, they have to go through the period of the wrath of God, so to spare at least some, God ushered in the dispensation of Grace- whosoever would believe in Him, through the sacrificial death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, His Only Begotten Son, and accept Him as Lord and Savior, will be spared.
Thus, he was told to go rest till the time of the end when everything would've come to pass already and would then be easier to understand.
The book of Revelation is the revealing or clarification of those things that Daniel couldn't understand at that time, especially that of a suffering Messiah, who will later be glorified (Benoni to Benjamin), now made manifest to him and not to the Apostle John as many thought, to whom was revealed the conclusion of the grace dispensation of the church.
Daniel was referred to as "greatly beloved" Daniel 9:23, and the Apostle John often referred to himself as "the desciple whom Jesus loved ", other than that, there's no where in the scriptures where there's any reference whatsoever, to connect him to end time revelations. Thus, Daniel must have been referred to as the man greatly beloved, (like Solomon and Benjamin), rather than by his name in the manuscripts, thus, it was attributed to the Apostle John as the person to whom the vision was revealed. Could it also be possible for Daniel to be the one on the Isle of Patmos since there was a reference of him appearing again at the time of the end in Daniel 12?
Jesus, as the Lamb of God, took the book that was sealed Revelation 5, and opened it physically in Luke 4:17-21, after His baptism and anointing, now filled with Holy Ghost and power, as the Messiah, to begin His ministry, as it was written of Him Psalm 40:6-8. He quoted the first part of Isaiah 61:2 because that was what He had come to fulfill. Isaiah 63:4, let us know that the second part would begin after the completion of the first part.
The day of the Lord's vengeance is now upon the world. The acceptable year of the Lord is fast closing. Let's endure till the end by His grace. In Jesus' name. Luke 4:17-18, Isaiah 61:2, 63:4, 34:8; 35:4, 33:22. Psalm 91.
We have no excuses. The bible will be shut again very soon, as the Holy Spirit that was sent to teach, help us understand, interpret to and lead us until the time of the end would have taken all Believers up and out of this world, thus, the bible returning to how it was in Isaiah 28:11-12; Amos 8:11-12. Everything written and revealed is unfolding.
They have started to make sense as the day draws near.
The whole counsel of God will be fulfilled, and then the end will come.

@@juligraham7319 The two witnesses will appear at the conclusion of the world system.
They are both representing both the church and Israel.
At this time, we're gathering together to confirm that the 2 witnesses could be the Apostle John and Daniel.
Their mission overlap as both represent the Church and Israel, respectively.
Revelation 1:1-2, equally applies to both of them- Daniel was referred to as "Greatly beloved " 10:111, 19, as well as John referred to himself as "the desciple whom Jesus loved " John 21:7; 13:23; 20:2.
They both received direct Revelation from the risen Jesus Christ. John 16:25; Daniel 8:17; 20:1, 8-9; Revelation 1:17 (Daniel chapters 8-12. (Daniel chapter 10=Revelation 1, Jesus Christ came to give them the vision, from the Father).
Revelation 10:11 signified the end of all written prophecies, both old and new testaments, and now they must be orally proclaimed, which continues into chapter 11, about the mission of the two witnesses.
Daniel once "rested" until the manifestation and completion of the prophecy, which he couldn't understand - about the suffering and killed Messiah. John was called up in Revelation 4, and I believe the same goes for Daniel, called up from his rest.
Thus, it's highly probable that they both were the ones prophesying for 1,260 days- for both the remnants of Israel and the left behind Christians, and as witnesses to the whole world as the "mystery of iniquity" is being concluded Revelation 11:2, and the world system is being prepared for final judgement.
They had to do to fulfill the word that says, "It is appointed to man, once to die, and then judgment." They died, but according to 1 Corinthians 15:51-58; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; death's sting had no effect on them, and the grave couldn't be victorious over them!
They were finally called back up, and they ascended into heaven Revelation 11:7-12 to be in the presence of the Lord
as "The Two Anointed Ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth " - The two Candlesticks and two Olive Trees!!!
      It has always been about the Royal-Priesthood: Royal- House of David;
      Priesthood: House of Levi- Aaron-Zadoc , Zechariah 6:9-15; 1 Samuel 30:7-8 ( 2:28; 21:1-6; 2 Samuel 6:7-14).
ZECHARIAH 4:11- REVELATION 11:4! Fulfilling God's original plan, even the mystery which had been hid from the foundation of the world, finally settled in heaven! Exodus 19:6; 1 Peter 2:9-10- Israel and the Church becomes One New Man, in Christ Jesus, who stood in the midst of the seven Candlesticks Revelation 1:13!
      Fulfilling Zechariah 4:14!
Man, who was made in the image and likeness of Christ Jesus, was covered in glory at Creation, then lost this glory. Jesus Christ left His glory to save the soul of fallen man, and for the promised glory, went to the cross died and resurrected from the dead and restored man to glory John 17:22; 1 Peter 5:10. This is the anointing upon both Israel and the Church because of the faith of Abraham.
Man now has a place before the presence of God as:
      1) In Christ - Head plus His Body - the ransomed and redeemed, the Church, in the midst of the Candlesticks, Revelation 1.
      2) As the 2 Olive Trees and 2 Candlesticks- Joshua the High Priest, Zerubbabel, the Apostle John and Daniel, representing Israel and the Church,
      3) The 24 Elders representing men of old, 12 elders of the 12 tribes, and 12 elders of the Church,
      4) The 144,000, who were never defiled, even with women, but had the original body undefiled by Satan and the world.
The story is simply about the restoration of man into glory, despite the devils shenanigans over the ages.
In conclusion, the 2 witnesses represent both Israel as a nation and the Church as the body of Christ, for the subsequent coming of the kingdom of God on earth.
Let the Lord shed light on His mystery in Jesus' name!

@juligraham7319 The beginning of sin, the mystery of iniquity began in Eden, Genesis 4:8-15-24. (Actually it began with Lucifer, but since he would never receive forgiveness, God began to impute His righteosness as soon as man sinned, and made a way out for him by the blood of the sinless Lamb slain before the foundation of the world, but that lives, sitted on the throne of God in the heavenly places. Ezekiel 28:16, and promptly judged verses 17-19, John 16:11, while man got a 1000 years deferred punishment, which was paid for by the sinless blood of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, and the complete man, on the cross of Calvary. )
This sin couldn't readily be judged simply because there was no preceding law about being one's brother's keeper that was broken. (Thus, the whole system was destroyed by the flood, and the laws started with that Genesis 9:5-6, until finally judged and finished on the cross John 19:30)
And in verse 15, a precedent was laid down for the time it would take to judge sin, 70x7 or 490 years.
That generation was wiped out by the flood, but the precept remained: sin shall be avenged seventy and seven fold. (Matthew 18:21-23).
This was the standard by which Israel also judged, as they also had to spend 70 sabbath years ( or 70x7= 490 years), in exile, outside of the promised land.
When it was the 69th week year Daniel prayed to God, and fasted to remind Him of the imminent due date of the return of God's people to their promised land; but the sin of the Amorite was not yet full, Genesis 15:16, also, Israel was still in rebellion towards God, and the land cannot sustain rebellion- it was Holy!
So, the Messiah had to come and make a way for grace and justification, and righteousness of God to be imputed, so Israel can get back their monarchy, through the house of David, and back to the kingdom of God, by grace through faith in Christ Jesus, as the Son of God, and the Son of man -the promised Son of David, the king of Israel to order His Kingdom Isaiah 9:6; who would ascend His throne as God had promised him. Romans 1:3; Acts 2:30, and come to bring them back to God, Jeremiah 16:16a; Luke 19:10; Matthew 10:5. Instead, they rejected and killed Him.
Thus, from then onwards, the way to God was opened to whosoever would come to Him by grace through the shedding of His blood, by grace through faith in His sacrificial death, burial and resurrection.
They were given the adoption of sons and daughters into the kingdom, which hitherto, they were not permitted Ephesians 2:13; John 1:11-14, becoming heirs and joint heirs of God and the Abrahamic covenanted promises an blessing (Genesis 25:6- the representatives of his other children by Hagar and Keturah, the Kings of the East, could now access and partake of the blessing, and they showed their allegiance and faith, by worshipping Jesus Christ, as a Child!)
Jesus Christ gave His life for all who would simply believe in Him as Lord and Savior, in order to keep them from the wrath of God that will be unleashed upon the Amorite, until the end. Isaiah 63:18; Daniel 8:13; Zechariah 12:3; Luke 21:24; Revelation 11:2.
And eventually, they will be rescued at the second coming of Christ Luke 21:13; Zechariah 14.
He finished the work of salvation of the soul of man John 19:30 and this continues the "acceptable year of the Lord" which began as He took the sealed book of Daniel, 12:4, from God, as the Lamb of God, who alone is Worthy, and opened the seals Revelation 5, and fulfilled the first of the three part of Isaiah 61:2, in Luke 4:16-21, and He SHUT it again. This will run through this dispensation of preaching of the gospel of grace, (which ended the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom, which ended with the stoning of Stephen) by faith in the sacrificial death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and He will return to gather His saints from the world, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15; and present them faultless before the presence of God the Father, with exceeding joy, Jude 24; with victory over sin, devil, death, hell and eternal damnation in the lake of fire and brimstone Isaiah 66:24.
The second dispensation is nearly upon us, at this time Isaiah 63:4, which will usher in the tribulation period when the 70th and last year will be ushered in to finish all transgressions! Daniel 9:24.
( As the Messiah has become the sacrifice for sin, and was dead, buried and rose again from the dead! His shed blood sprinkled on the heavenly mercy seat for propitiation for sins for all who would go to God by and through Him, simply by faith! Ephesians 2:8).
Then, the Lord will return the second time, complete with His body, as a new Creature resting upon the Mount of Olives Zechariah 14, to make a way of escape for the remnants of Israel Matthew 24:31.
Then the battle of armageddon will ensue, and it will end up in total obliteration of this earth. Isaiah 24; Joel chapters 2 and 3, Jeremiah chapters 1-11...; 1 Peter 3 etc.
This is the fullness and end, and judgment of the sin of the Amorite! Matthew 18:21-22; Psalm 75:8; 73:3-17.
Then the new heaven and earth will be created after the conclusion of the millennium- to mark the expiration date of sin and death, like it was back in Eden. Now man will live out the 1000 year curse of death Isaiah 65, (Genesis 5).
Then history will repeat itself when everything reaches full circle- the serpent will be released once again, Revelation 20:1-6, to tempt man as he did with Adam and Eve, those who follow him will get totally judged and cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, together with hell, death, the antichrist, false prophets and all whose portion is with them Isaiah 66:24. Revelation chapters 19-22.
God has perfected the end from the beginning. But as it is written-"My people are destroyed for lack of Knowledge " Hosea 4:6, so, "With all thine getting, get understanding " Proverbs 4:7; Luke 24:45. Be filled with and led by the Holy Spirit, and abide in the fold, John 10, until He returns as promised, to take up His purchased possession! John 14:26; Ephesians chapters 1-2!
Then He will set up His kingdom! Isaiah 9:6!
      Be encouraged!

Does your preacher teach that God and His Son Jesus Christ can lie???
Does your preacher teach that Jesus Christ is God Almighty???
What does God say??? See Matthew 3:17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
God said “This is My beloved Son” but your preacher say No….. No….. No… This is You God in a man’s body, the only God. You are Jesus Christ you beloved yourself… we know better than you.
What does Jesus say??? See Matthew 26:63-64, But Jesus kept silent. And the high priest answered and said to Him, “I put You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God!”……64 Jesus said to him, “It is as you said. Nevertheless, I say to you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.”
Jesus said that he was the son of God… but your preacher said No….No…No…. Jesus is not telling the truth He is God Almighty!!! He will be sitting at the right hand of Himself coming on the clouds….
Who do you…. put your faith in… God or the preacher? Let’s see how God feel about deceiver and liars? See:
    John 8:44
You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
    1 John 2:22
Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.
    1 John 5:10
He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son.
    Proverbs 17:4
An evildoer gives heed to false lips; A liar listens eagerly to a spiteful tongue.
    2 John 7
For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
    A lesson to remember when you fail to love and have faith in God‘s word. See Genesis 3:3-4 the first lie told to mankind;
    Genesis 3
3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ”4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.
If only they had listen to God and trust in his words…. but what about you? Would you accept and trust God word here? Or Will you???? continue to say Jesus Christ is the only God? Contradicting God words, just as satan the devil DID????
There is Only One Gospel for all mankind concerning God‘s love for mankind through His Son Jesus Christ:
    Galatians 1:1-6, 8-9
1 Paul, an apostle (not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead), 2 and all the brethren who are with me, To the churches of Galatia: 3 Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, 4 who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, 5 to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ,…(you notice the comma,) ….to a different gospel,…….. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be [b]accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.
Like Adam and eve, you can blame everyone, but you will also be judge!!!!
