  • In this explore, we take a look at what we think may have been one of the caretaker houses within the park grounds. To our amazement, it was actually open, so we headed in to take a short look round. It was nice to see the natural decay of the property, with no deliberate damage present.
We do not recommend entering for obvious reasons. This explore is purely to document and show what lies inside. Join us along the way!

The light switch looks like it’s from the 1950s and the tech and lampshade looks 1980s. So it was probably abandoned in the mid 80s. If they could make the floor safe it would make a great scare zone for the Halloween season

I do like the old explores, seeing things like the light switches and the ironing board reminds me of when I was growing up xx

@@ExploringWithin they were very common in the 70s and 80s i remember my gran and my mum having one of those doll toilet roll covers! ( supose they has to do something with all the kids old cindy or barbie dolls ounce they grew out of playing with them vack then! so they upcylcled them to bog roll covers lol) ..I also remember those coat hooks ...prob 50's 60's early 70s now they would be called mid century modern or post modern and there is a good market for stuff like that these day in the antique / collectors trade! ( the coat hook not the bog cover doll lol) AND yes guys i am that aincent 🤣🤣😉😉

The doll in the toilet was to hide a spare toilet roll, under her dress. When it was the height of bad etiquette to show your spare toilet roll, for some reason. A very 60-70s thing, how times have changed, lol.

wow! i have been to alton towers for ages, and never once saw this open. jm pretty sure it was home to some of the parks staff from 1980 to as recent as 2000, and before that it was used as a tea room along with some other buildings in the gardens. really enjoy this content i have subsribed and will check out your other videos.
