Myson Flow Meter Cleaning

A short video on how to remove and clean the flow meters in your Myson underfloor heating manifold.
After some time, my flow meters were coated in corrosion, and you couldn't see which circuits were active. Removal and disassembly is easy, cleaning takes some time, but is not difficult.
I am not affiliated with Myson, nor am I a heating engineer - if you don't feel comfortable doing this task yourself, hire a professional to tackle it for you - goes without saying that I can't be responsible for any damage you may do to your heating (or yourself) if you attempt this.

Great vid, helpful advice....as an additional step unscrew the clear plastic part from the metal base then clean separately to ensure full and free movement/adjustment when reassembled

Awesome! Thank you. My flow meters were like this after 3yrs. I cleaned them as per your instructions. At the same time & for good measure, I flushed each UFH loop; but they were all squeaky clear due to me running an Adey MagnaClean Professional 2 filter; which I highly recommend! Especially if you have UFH. Thanks & kind regards
