Do whatever format you think would present fights in the best manner! Now, are we still taking bets? If not, here are just my quick thoughts on the upcoming match-ups. 1) Whereas these first two videos clearly had battles organized around a theme (a character vs. a stronger version of themselves, two DS2 characters vs. each other, etc.) the second round of match-ups is free from that obligation. 2) As such, I think a lot more of the fights are going to be closer: Siegward vs. Zoey, Kamui vs. Horace and Gael vs. Hawkwood can really go either way, imo, and are going to be the absolute highlights. Many of the others are a bit more predictable: Lapp vs. Alva, Patches vs. Creighton, Leonhard vs. Anri, Sirris vs. Albert, Ledo vs. Eygon etc. all have a pretty clear favorite, but still have a chance of a surprising outcome. On the other hand.... 3) It seems like you want to eliminate Heysel, Greirat, Sword Master, Leonhard, Orbeck and Londor Pale Shade ASAP? I mean, their first round opponents already outmatched them significantly, and now they are up against the strongest NPCs in the game (except for Greirat, but he's so weak, it would be a miracle if he actually beats Cornyx.) PLEASE make it so that at least their final round battles are vs. the opponents as weak as themselves. If you don't mind, a couple of round 3 suggestions. Greirat vs. Orbeck. I think the two of them deserve each other, and watching them fight would make the final battle involving them interesting instead of a total write-off. Londor Pale Shade vs. Heysel - same as the above. Now that we saw Heysel get crushed by Tsorig, and know she'll do even worse vs. Havel, she deserves to fight someone much closer to her own level & style. Leonhard vs. the loser of the Kamui/Horace fight. Yuria vs. the winner of that fight. Patches vs. Sirris - we have to see him fight a Cleric! Sword Master vs. Kriemhild - since Sword Master is probably getting eliminated, it'll be interesting to see him duel a mage instead of another melee fighter, as well as to see which one of them is better at parrying. EDIT: I have mistaken Kirk for Leonhard.
7:38 I get that he blocked it, but Homing Soulmass doing 5 damage to Havel made me have to stop the video in order to catch my breath from laughing so hard
The best one so far for sure, people are complaining so much about how unfair it was because hawkwood had the better move set, like what do you want him to fight with, his bare hands?
10:58 And now the main event of the evening, brought to you by Budlight, the perfect Estus for whatever happens. Hawkwood with his 7 estus, befitting of an unkindled. Hodrick with his infamous shield, befitting of a mound maker. Round 1: Hawkwood may have deserted but he proudly represents the culture of Farron and his watcher brethren with a dominant first round Round 2: Hodrick proves why his shield is to be feared with a clutch parry Round 3: Hodrick finally resorts to using warmth, Hawkwood downing his first flasks. Hawkwood stops being flashy and goes for the kill. 10/10 match
SPOILER: 1: This fight is a perfect demonstration on how powerful yet dumb Kriemhild's AI can be, as it's both capable of annihilation and utter uselessness. That said, I never knew how "meh" Orbeck's AI is. I don't see Orbeck performing in this tournament, and Kriemhild will mostly be coinflipping every round. 2: Tsorig is a really simple yet efficient bowl of stat. Do they get in range? Yes? Then bonk. And he doesn't have the weakest bonk either. Honestly, he might be better than Havel by AI alone. I had my bet on him because I knew that despise how annoying Heysel can be to fight, she's a pretty early invader, so she doesn't have much stat. Heysel can win out of luck, so long as she lands against squishier targets or keeps her distance. Tsorig will surely have good fights, though his passion for blocking might get in the way and punish him. 3. Zoey vs Yuria. DLC vs non DLC. Zoey has really insane damage, the only reason she did not win outright was her questionable spacing. But even then, her whip alone does more damage than Yuria. I don't expect Zoey to be able to take on aggressive AIs like Hawkwood, but I think she has enough damage to delete the tankiest of NPCs, assuming she doesn't go too close. Yuria isn't exactly a lost cause due to a decent defensive AI, but she doesn't have much. 4. They literally are a stat check. MK is a DLC invader. Like Eygon has absolutely 0 chance against that, especially considering that even at his peak he is not that stong. MK will climb high most definitely, considering tanking, damage and aggressiveness, Eygon will be probably in the middle of the pack, probably among the weaker heavy fighters. 5. An even battle, with both of them having unique strategies. It was interesting to watch. Londor Pale Shade's strategy won't work really well against tougher opponent, considering the squishiness of LPS. Rushing down someone with low armor isn't a good idea. Kirk is a really standard but efficient fighter. If he loses matches, it will most likely be because he's an early invader, and therefore the stats don't follow. Kirk is middle of the pack, maybe higher but not much. 6. This fight is a perfect demonstration of why havel can lose the tournament. While Havel is insanely tanky, he has non existent stamina management. Any fighter with an in-and-out strategy can completely abuse Havel. I didn't expect Leonhard to do much, but if it's invaded Leonhard, it make sense that he managed to deal a surprising amount of damage. Honestly, Leonhard might be the best among the lighter characters, being essentially a better version of Heysel. Havel will still climb because he may be dumb as a rock, but he is still solid as a rock, doesn't do shit damage. 7. While it was obvious that Lapp would win (tanky with potential for really high damage), Patches AI does show its ability to detect blocking and punish accordingly. Unfortunately, Lapp must have a ton of stamina to not get guard broken after 2 blocked kicks. Still, Patches AI knows how to get close, and that's going to help it. He is probably about the same power level as Kirk, maybe with weaker damage but better AI. I wouldn't be surprised if Lapp managed to win the tournament. 8. Hawkwood is clearly underrated, but I personally died a ton of times when trying to get his useless stone. I won't sell Hodrick short though: for the earliest invader, he is high tier. Though he may have more the stats of his NPC version, so it may not be that low. But spam and a fuck ton of stamina will render him weaker as Hodrick is really good at playing the long game. Hawkwood may be in the middle of the pack in terms of tankiness (especially considering that he is not from any of the DLCs) but the agression, stamina and damage makes him high tier, higher than Hodrick definitely. I don't think he'll fair as well against the bulkiest of the tournament (like Tarkus, Lapp or MK) but he will kick asses.
Hodrick's AI is mad dumb. He always buffs when enemies are close and gets slashed the hell out. Not to mention the Greatsword Hawkwood has a combo that can instant kill many if let finished
To be fair, an assassin is meant to win via ambushes. And unlike the Black Hands of Lothric, who seem to be chosen from particularly skilled knights, and the Pale Shades of Londor, who seem to be specially trained in mauling their victims and in SOME dark sorcery, the assassins of the Dragon School of Vinheim appear to be primarily sorcerers. They rely on spells more than anything else. They only have a staff and a dagger. And to top it all off, he hasn't competed his training nor his studies. It's honestly no surprise he lost to a highly trained sorcerer.
@xBirds Likely Lapp vs Havel, because there was a free for all of NPC's in one video where Havel won the first round and Lapp won the second. Lapp is surprisingly strong, guess it's good I did his quest as intended and never set him off.

Was a little afraid that Kriemhild's addiction to the nigh-useless Crystal Hail would throw the fight even to Orbeck, but nope, she's still got it! (It helps that even her Crystal Hail is still more damaging than Orbeck's own ranged spell.) Her parry at 1:06, followed by a point-blank Crystal Soul Spear, was awesome! While I can't see her beating Vilhelm, I hope her 3rd round opponent is someone reasonable, so that we can see her in the next bracket. Hawkwood killing Hodrick was awesome; I suspect it was the main reason why you decided to have multiple versions of round 1! (That, and Alva killing Creighton, I guess.) I knew that he would fare pretty well since he puts up a good fight vs. his former Legion, but he still outperformed expectations! I can totally see him beating Gael as well: either way, that battle is going to be one to watch for sure! Ringfinger Leonhard was another fighter who had truly outperformed expectations: he was way better at dodging Havel than I thought he would be, and while he obviously couldn't deal enough damage in the long run, he still put up a good show! I doubt he can overcome Anri, but his fighting style is sufficiently neat that I hope round 3 will give him a chance to advance into the next bracket. On the other hand, Yuria was BY FAR the biggest disappointment of both rounds! We all know just how strong Zoey is, but since Yuria can kill Blackflame Friede, I still thought she had a chance, and that she would at least put up a good fight. Instead, Zoey had not one but TWO flawless victories as Yuria wasted so much time walking slowly with Dark Hand up. I REALLY cannot see her beating Dunnel if this is how her AI treats every ranged attacker; she may get luckier since Dunnel lacks a whip, but I do not see it being enough to win her the fight. Her final round opponent better be someone melee-only and relatively easy, if only to provide some suspense.
Yes, Hawkwood killing Hodrick was the main reason for multiple matches in round 1. "Yuria can kill Blackflame Friede" What? Definitely not on New Game. No NPC can kill Blackflame Friede on New Game without heavily modifying their stats, even Havel almost loses to regular Friede. Unless there is a much stronger version of Yuria somewhere in the game, that I'm not aware of. Also why do you doubt Leonhard can beat Anri, this is the Crescent Moon Sword Leonhard, not his base version at Firelink.
@Pantagana Not on New Game, no, but Yuria can actually do that on NG+8. ua-cam.com/video/PfL7cndxAr4/v-deo.html And yeah, now I think about it, Leonhard should have good chances vs. Anri. Just saying that if he still loses, pls. try not to set him up vs. another "Havel-tier" NPC for the final match of the bracket (i.e. Zoey, Shira, Hawkwood or Dunnel) since I want to see more of him in the next bracket. That's all!
@@azurebookllet9216 You can see in his video that Blackflame Friede had slightly over 6542 HP (if you add the numbers above the health-bar), but on NG+8 she should have 9619 HP. I think he used a similar method to make her transform that I use, but forgot to give her extra HP that she gets in the Boss fight, and left her with her phase 1 health. Looks like Yuria had slightly over 2661 HP. For comparison, on New Game Yuria has 1369 HP, and Blackflame Friede has 6864.
"Yellowfinger Heysel vs Havel Knight" Yikes, someone is gonna get fingered, that's for sure. And it's definitely not the dude wearing literal rocks for armor and swinging around a dragon tooth.
Orbeck, fool, you need to get close to enemy to use your magic sword! Not just flail it 10 meters away from enemy! Good job, Hawkwood. I'm rooting for you, you fabulous asshole!
Prediction before watching the Hodrick vs Hawkwood fight: If this was NG+7, I would place money on Hodrick. But since this is NG, and Hodrick is scaled for Road of Sacrifices, I think Hawkwood will win because he is scaled for Archdragon Peak. Also I am curious as to whether or not he will use the Farron Greatsword. Edit: Forgot about Hodrick at the end of Sirris' quest. Good game Hawkwood.
First Round: yea Hawkwood's got it Second Round: nah, Hodrick's still in this Third Round: "Hodrick! Hodrick! Hodrick!...........ah damn, that was good match tho
Hodrick is the Master of AI derping. If his AI was even remotely as good against NPCs as it is against players, he woulda won that match 10 times over. Like, why the actual hell doesn't he riposte after a parry? That would have been an insta-win.
(Opening fight is Orbeck vs Kremhild) WIZARD FIIIIIIIIIIIGHT Words cannot describe how satisfying it is to see Tsorig pancake Heysel, bahahaha Zoey just destroyed Yuria, woooow. Absolutely hilarious how Yuria only got one hit in on both rounds. Kirk actually won something, wooooo!!! Yeah, Leonhard got smashed so hard, hahaha. When you're a backstep caster build, your defenses aren't nearly enough to withstand big bonk Havel boi. Lapp out here showing why Pokémon evolutions are so much stronger than their base formes. Hawkwood STYLED on Hodrick, HAHAHA!! Hodrick did throw with how he didn't riposte after parrying, but watching Hawkwood dance around and shred was soooooo great!!
I really liked this tournament idea, very unique from what people do on other channels and i appreciate, but, after this one, i would like to see another tournament with randomized keys, and a little more balance on the life/damage subject, this one is good for sure but i would watch another one with more balanced status and RANDOMIZED MATCHES. if you could, i would be grateful
Yuria : legendary swordsman, leader of the church of Londor, merciless killer who has over a hundred confirmed kills and a magic katana with an invisible blade Zoey : haha, great-hammer-whip goes swoosh 475. I know she wears basically no armor, but I really don’t care, 475 ? What the heck From ? What the freakin heck ? How can anybody defend this garbage over-simplistic balancing ?! I don’t even care how much damage she does, I’m just appalled that they would be so blatant in their atrocious balancing as to give her a whip rather than... any weapon that could make that much damage :| Like, I don’t know, give her a bleed weapon if you really want her to do more damage than a whip should be able to do, don’t just pump up the whip to completely absurd levels. Edit : wow, I’m positively impressed with Kirk, that was a very clean fight 0_0 He is surprisingly good at keeping the pressure on and reacting to what his opponent is using. He doesn’t even do trash damage against a much later game opponent than he is (I mean, the pale shade doesn’t wear heavy armor, so there is that, but still). Edit 2 : ... WTH ?!! The dragon tooth does *less* damage than Zoey’s whip ?!! Did someone at From even give a damn ?!!!
I have the feeling that NPCs doesn't know how to use the Bloodborne dash. So they think they dodged, but as they don't roll far, they get damaged. Also they seem to don't know how to dash forward.
Almost felt pity for Leonard. He is quite skilled and usually his Shotel like Sword hits hard when having a shield, but Havel is too much of a tank and his shield doesn't give a fuck if the sword is straight or curved. And Leo's spells can't mess with Havel neither. That moment when he ran out of Estus.. "Fuck it, I go all in."
Its Unfair because all dlc characters are more op, I think that should be another tournament with 2 diferent leagues (one for npcs in the main game and other for dlc npcs) or something like that.
Always nice to see Londor edgelords getting destroyed. Also, Hawkwood is the true representation of an average undead legioner here, destroying that madman with overblown flat stats.

She s addicted to crystals? Mmmmm(eth) 😏
@Pantagana Not on New Game, no, but Yuria can actually do that on NG+8.
ua-cam.com/video/PfL7cndxAr4/v-deo.html
And yeah, now I think about it, Leonhard should have good chances vs.
@@Pantagana Huh, never thought of that. Nice catch!
I'm excited that Anri and Siegward are up one, but Siegward's next match has me very worried.
Well, Zoey loses to Lapp and Dunnel (and Havel, obviously) and Siegward can kill Hodrick, so I would say he still has a chance even there.
Damn Hawkwood earned that victory with style
"Yellowfinger Heysel vs Havel Knight"
Yikes, someone is gonna get fingered, that's for sure. And it's definitely not the dude wearing literal rocks for armor and swinging around a dragon tooth.
Yooo that parry to Crystal soul spear at 1:10 was savage 🤣
Ring Finger stood no chance against havel but he tried
Mad props to Leonhardt for guard breaking The Rock himself though
Orbeck: I'M A TRAINED ASSASSIN IN THE DRAGON SCHOOL! EAT FARON DART!
Krimhild: ....
Orbeck, fool, you need to get close to enemy to use your magic sword! Not just flail it 10 meters away from enemy!
Good job, Hawkwood. I'm rooting for you, you fabulous asshole!
I get the feeling that Havel is just going to walk this. Was thinking Npcs Vs Midir?
Ledo and lapp may truble our rock boi
Леонхард хоть и проиграл, но красава, держался как мог. От Хоквуда такого зверства не ожидал)
1:06 gawd dang that parry was smooth as hell
Yay! Been waiting for this
It's awesome 👌i enjoy every minutes of your video
5:29 anyone else here glad to see egg on get clapped?
Cornyx vs Greirat will be a legendary battle for sure xD
I bet on the black horse of this tournament Hawkwood
Prediction before watching the Hodrick vs Hawkwood fight: If this was NG+7, I would place money on Hodrick. But since this is NG, and Hodrick is scaled for Road of Sacrifices, I think Hawkwood will win because he is scaled for Archdragon Peak. Also I am curious as to whether or not he will use the Farron Greatsword.
Edit: Forgot about Hodrick at the end of Sirris' quest. Good game Hawkwood.
I'm placing two bets:
Hawkwood and Lapp
First Round: yea Hawkwood's got it
Second Round: nah, Hodrick's still in this
Third Round: "Hodrick!
(Opening fight is Orbeck vs Kremhild)
WIZARD FIIIIIIIIIIIGHT
Words cannot describe how satisfying it is to see Tsorig pancake Heysel, bahahaha
Zoey just destroyed Yuria, woooow.
You are doing a loser's bracket too?? Chad
You know that point a mage parries your spell sword… he didn’t just disrespect you he truly stated you won’t worth the effort
Kirk v Pale was just a taunt at the end, kirk was like "fuck you" *shield bashes 3 times to show dominance*
Yuria : legendary swordsman, leader of the church of Londor, merciless killer who has over a hundred confirmed kills and a magic katana with an invisible blade
Zoey : haha, great-hammer-whip goes swoosh
475. I know she wears basically no armor, but I really don’t care, 475 ? What the heck From ? What the freakin heck ? How can anybody defend this garbage over-simplistic balancing ?!
I don’t even care how much damage she does, I’m just appalled that they would be so blatant in their atrocious balancing as to give her a whip rather than... any weapon that could make that much damage :|
Like, I don’t know, give her a bleed weapon if you really want her to do more damage than a whip should be able to do, don’t just pump up the whip to completely absurd levels.
Edit : wow, I’m positively impressed with Kirk, that was a very clean fight 0_0
He is surprisingly good at keeping the pressure on and reacting to what his opponent is using.
I was absolutely expecting Hodrick to absolutely SLAM Hawkwood. That fight was a bit unexpected lmao
Ah the desert pyromancer, the ONLY dark souls ANYTHING that beat butt with a whip.
Good now after the tourney finishes boost the watchers damage to = Harkwoods lets see how they were really meant to hit.
I have the feeling that NPCs doesn't know how to use the Bloodborne dash. So they think they dodged, but as they don't roll far, they get damaged. Also they seem to don't know how to dash forward.
The mod doesn't change the distance covered with the dodge, nor the recovery time, nor invincibility frames. It only changes how the animation looks.
Man that last fight was fantastic
The difference between the npc fighting each other is so great. The draw needs to be modified.
Orbeck turned on the blender there for a second. Still wasn’t enough damage
Eygon: “who are you?”
Moaning Knight: “I’m you but better.”
ringfinger: *uses magic*
havel: ..you have pressed the havel button...GET POISED
unbreakable patches.....
Well we can say that he was breakable in that round
You can’t really break patches unless your patches, right?
Almost felt pity for Leonard.
He is quite skilled and usually his Shotel like Sword hits hard when having a shield, but Havel is too much of a tank and his shield doesn't give a fuck if the sword is straight or curved.
And Leo's spells can't mess with Havel neither.
That moment when he ran out of Estus..
"Fuck it, I go all in."
i feel like it was a bit unfair especially when normal NPCs Fight against the OP DLC NPCs, but aight
Its Unfair because all dlc characters are more op, I think that should be another tournament with 2 diferent leagues (one for npcs in the main game and other for dlc npcs) or something like that.
My boy Havel doesn't care what your opinion is.
So satisfying to see the knight slayer murder yellowfingers whole career
Whoah, Yellow Finger got smashed!
Isn't Hodrick's mad spirit from Crucifixion Woods the most stronger version?
8:22 wow
My boy orbeck got harassed and molested with the “i can parry you but lets play a bit longer”
Always nice to see Londor edgelords getting destroyed.
Also, Hawkwood is the true representation of an average undead legioner here, destroying that madman with overblown flat stats.
So basically, rip any NPC that dares to not be late game.
Ringfinger Leonhard and the No Good Very Bad Day
Kremhild using crystal sorcery.
Meanwhile, Orbeck using farron dart. Lol
If lapp beats patches, but patches is lapp, does that mean that patches still wins anyway?
Orbeck: Fuck magic, R1 to death
Yellow finger Heysel got squashed
0:22 brought a sword into a gun fight.
