Elish McColgan (Scotland) & Irene Cheptai (Kenya) final lap 2022 Commonwealth Games 10k meter final.

This was Elish McCoglan's fourth Commonweath Games appearance having finished 6th the last three times. Her mother Liz (who was in the stands) won the CG 10K race twice (1986, 1990) and at 31 years of age, this could be McColgan's last chance to win a major title and make her mum proud.
