Thank you for the comparison -- very informative. I also went back & watched your Pin Up vs Pin Down Asym with Specto. Would like to see you throw a comparison of Drill Angle 70° vs 30° with the pin & val constant, maybe at the Radical Most Versatile of DA x 4 x 35. Possibly a Top Speed vs Outer Limits? I have a C300 Speed, but still in box, undrilled; waiting to see where/when I may use it. Your smooth release & easy analysis keeps me coming back.
I have the BW 2.0 hybrid. I had the ghost, so I figured I'd love this one too. I love the hybrid, but I put too much revs and not enough speed into the hybrid to make the ball playable on a league shot. Until I can make it usable in league, it stays in my sport shot bag with my supernova and fate.
Great comparison. However, the one thing I would have liked to see is what happens when you got deeper but used the range finder as the breakpoint. Even though you moved around; the one constant was you kept making sure to use the breakpoint of around 3-5 at 40 feet. The impressive thing about these two balls is that neither got hook/stoppy as you increased your angles through the front.
Love the video. I'm curious tho. If these balls are so close dynamically, why would anyone choose the Columbia over the hammer, that costs $25 less? I'm sure this isn't the only time 2 balls do the same thing at different price points.
Good question, for some, there are die hard Columbia300 fans and now they have a ball reaction that is right on top of one of the best balls in Hammer’s history.
OK I have the ghost but i keep seeing this 2.0 hybrid and I really like it. I don't know why I'm fighting it. That's it I'm buying it. Maybe go pin down? I'm at 19.7 mph , and 479 rpm. I have the ghost drilled pin up 45x4x45. Man its such an internal struggle....I got a dark web sitting here undrilled to. Thanks for the tips etc.
Just as I’m mad at Ebonite for releasing The One Encore and at Hammer with the Envy Tour Pearl, I got my best friend foaming at the mouth over the Columbia 300 High Speed.
Nick, I currently have the Envy and ocean vibe. I am looking for something in between. Would you say the widow 2.0 hybrid is a good choice? Or what would you recommend?
I watch you throw the ball and I see that you have a totally different way of holding the ball from other bowlers I seen. I am from the old school. I use to bowl a lot in the 70 to mid 80s. I try to get back in blowing. I hold the bowl the old fashion way handshake. I got my ball drilled and I am not getting the roll I want. The black widow 2.0 hybrid, does not curve the way I want. The ball goes straight then curve in the last second, sometime it does not. So is there a different hole pattern for my style of release? I see your ball curves but can not get the same rotation and curve with my hybrid.
Aside from the obvious like colors and the High Speed being a hybrid, are there any differences between it and the Top Speed? With that said, would there be any significant difference in ball reaction between the two?
In case you’re not tracking, his name is BrunsNick for a specific reason…he is a Brunswick staffer; therefore, he can only throw bowling balls under the Brunswick brand family (Brunswick, Columbia 300, DV8, Ebonite, Hammer, Radical, and Track).
black widow series is so much cheaper on most sites... no wonder they have the market share right now. no shame to C300 products, just aren't competing in my wallet yet, but love the performance.
Thank you, I was thinking about the high speed and you sold me. Love the widow but will try something new.
The High Speed looked just a touch earlier than the 2.0 but otherwise extremely similar motions. Love my 2.0

I wish they would redo the piranha. I have the cuda, and the power torq, just got the teal rhino. I love the balls coming back from my youth.
Nick keeping the hitters coming!

Really like the comparison video! I would love to see a comparison video between the Paragon Pearl and the Paragon Hybrid
Wow! Very nice thanks Nick
Another very revealing video. Super job on the ball reads, Nick.
Great video as always
Another nice video. I’ve always liked Columbia. No need to be a brand snob these days. There’s a lot of good stuff out there.
c300 top speed was my first high end ball im so excited to use the high speed!
4:02- 2 board, awesome
Got to say 5:00 1 board for the hammer
5:32 oh yeah Nick
I really enjoyed this one! I love my BW 2.0 Hybrid

Great choice 👍🏻
I love my Widow Hybrid. I don't do it Justice, though. I need to work on my game.
would these work for a roller- I currently use the Rip'd Pearl and absolutely love that ball
What’s a roller?
NICK!!!! Would you keep both of these in your bag at the same time or do they overlap?
One would need some surface to have both.
@@brunsnick gotcha! Thanks!

Maybe talk to your pro shop about your fit and then get on the lanes and practice until you get the motion you want. 👍🏻

The covers are different, this one will traction earlier compared to the Pearl.
Do you think you will compare the high speed got the paragon pearl
Maybe!
I need to see the Envy ? All of them
Geez someone flood outside of 1st arrow😀 we know they blow sparks on the dry. Thank u
If they are so similar, why drill them differently?
We're you trying to make them shape the same by drilling them differently?
Thank you.
Layouts aren’t much different, close enough for the comparison. Drilled the BW before I started doing videos and drilling everything the same.
Need to do different bowling balls, there are other bowling balls than just storm, Columba, hammer.
Huh

The Outerlimits is a better ball overall way more versatility.

That High Speed looks stupid and it looks like Christmas 🎄... I believe I shall get one
Kinkos
Love to see you compare the Brunswick Mindset -vs- Storm Summit & Motiv Jackal Ambush. 🎳👍🎳
Nope. Sorry.
