Thank you! You can paint on resin but you'll want to then resin over that. A lot of people do layered works where they pour a thin layer and let it cure, paint something on it (say the most distant trees in a forest scene), then keep adding layers and paint until it creates a 3-D illusion in the painting. Nerdforge is one of my favorite channels and she did that - it was mega rad!
Alcohol ink on tile can be fussy, but, much like pouring on tile, it's easy to just wipe off things you don't like and start again. Nevertheless, it's a beautiful end result!
Darn it Raina it was so freaking good okay next 😢 Gosh that's so good..I do love it hard to understand everything but it's just so pretty ❤ Question what do you use for waves that white it's amor something
I knew it was going to need 2 layers of resin... the first to encapsulate the ink and glitter, which has a fair amount of texture. This vinyl is the removable type, so I knew I'd get a smoother/better application after 1 coat of resin. It needs then a top coat (which I have yet to do!) and it'll all be sealed!
Awesome sauce 👌 😎 Raina! Happy VD darlin 💜🦄 I love this painting!
Thanks, Marla!
Wow you really worked at this one! And WHAT A PAYOFF.. Love the colors and design Raina💜💜💜 Hope you had a wonderful Valentines Day
Thank you! I'm pleased with it. I still need to give it a top-coat of resin, though! my pile of unfinished projects grows ever higher.
You put your heart into this piece❣️I didn’t realize you could continue painting on resin. 🤷🏻♀️ It’s quite a piece ❗️Must be cold up there in WI 🥶😻

Thank you!
nice save. it's so cosmic..awesome.
Thank you! Cheers!
Lol desperation is not a good thing. Lol. I was just fascinated with how the ink spreads out!
Ha! No, it's not. Inks are fun! It's a nice little change for when I don't feel like (or have time for) mixing paint.

Yes, that's a great feature of the medium! It's fun just to play, even when it gets totally out of control.

Love the colors! Question why didn’t I put the vinyl heart on before the resin? Just curious 💜
