You're very talented Jason ! ;-) Do you know that Kim had Words Fell Down on her setlist while she was touring in February and March .. I went to see last month in Paris and it was GREAT. She is so talented and nice !!
Porque esta canción no aparece en la discografía de Kim walde si probablemente es la mejor canción de esta sensacional y hermosa cantante. En que año salió esta canción, porque tengo vagos recuerdos y parece que le escuche en 1979 o 1980 por primera vez
@Joeaparis40 OH MY GAWD! You are joking? KIm added 'Words Fell Down' in the last few months to her setlist? Did you see it??? I am SO jealous, i ADORE this track and 'Select' is my favourite Kim WIlde album. Did she change it much or did she do it vintage style??????
@thenouveauxdecadence Great song with a sincere hautain lyrics, much more pleasant lyrics than the lyrics of "Who do you think you are". Select was Ricky at his best.
+musixpression To make it all clear, i.m.o., there's nothing wrong with saying the positive and critical points, that sounds at least real. Kim Wilde is indeed a woman with sexappeal and a right clear voice, but haven't you forgotten that she was also very lucky with a business father and a producing composing brother like that? And then í'm talking about the first 4 albums, especially from the second and very especially Select. If we the people don't realise things this way, then there won't come a return to a music revolution again.
Yes but it married to the music and songs perfectly. Bananarama grinned like goofs cos they were goofs as was their music. Cute but not challenging, interchangable candyfloss. Plus she said early on in an interview that in a heavily sexist environment it enabled her to be taken more seriously, not least when many kept screaming 'nepotism' like the clots they are! Once Kim's music got more syruped up commercially following sellout "Close", sadly the smiles came more readily. This may have been seen as a good thing, but actually it mirrored the music as by nothing like the past! Thankfully it was not to last. But turst me she's a happy person (not that kids can surely give you that) especially considering the musical dead zone we've all been in for virtually 30 years since the 80s ended. Death stare, maybe, but good. After all, no one questions the guys doing it. If that's what you can call it. But the girls were often better, and Toyah, Sandra, Bangles, Natasha England. I also remember Kim saying that she liked how Lauren Bacall never smiled in photos, seemed aloof yet no exactly. Early after her first hits, a photographer insisted Kim smile. She refused. Bastard photographers as bossy as the label execs. Think-it's a girl, she'll do what we say. But death stare. Perfect. Sumps up the cover photo for the excellent "Teases & Dares" utterly.
The NEW WAVE days........... are gone........but, it'll come back....just as soon the economy is fix. Other then that Kim Wilde rocks....so let us enjoy.
Sweetie, the 80s are GONE! New Wave, like shitty Punk and disco are gone forever, but real music never will be and the spirit will always be channelled by the best. Forget the music scene over the past 30 years. There is none. Just the best people still enduring.

Incredibly romantic
I love how the guitar gets really rocky at 2:25 and onwards! In memory of Steve Byrd!
Steve Byrd was great.
Ricky Wilde is perfect.
Reminds me of The Metro by Berlin from the same year.
Lord Protector - Same style of music. Great songs. Berlin though, I love their debut album “Information” a lot! One of my favorite albums of all time.

did she invent the "death stare"? .she smiles a lot more these days

@@kyachdistent1301 great response. I still love Kim smiling or not! It fitted in with the post punk image at the time.
@5tzenalose5
you can find this lp at most half priced books for 3 dollars, id recommend recovering it!
@TheNouveauxdecadence
Gonna try to put the video of the concert on my account...you'll see it ..
фотки хорошо, как и песня, но почему нет видео....
бо эта песня только в студийном формате в 80х она не звучяла ни на одном концерте или даже просто по телеку

Похоже из группы "Мираж" - Я не шучу.
Что похоже?
Is this song about something? The lyrics (at least the chorus) don't really make sense
2:16.....
