- This was my first visit ever to Castell Coch just north of Cardiff, Wales.
Castell Coch is a a grand 19th-century castle built in the gothic-revival style. just above the village of Tongwynlais.
A very wet and overcast day...towards the end of my visit the rain started coming down more heavily.
