- My interview with Don Johnson at Pebble Beach for the movie, "Tin Cup." We talked about his early job as a meat butcher, what it was like as a young actor working on the MGM lot, theater interruptions, how he deals with competition, and what happened to his Miami Vice wardrobe.

Don Johnson is the spitting image of the 80s American hero. I love his English, he got an excellent pronunciation, and his way to talk is simply interesting. He's the coolest American Guy!

It is too bad that Planet Hollywood did not have the same success track that The Cheesecake Factory has...Cheesecake Factory must be a living primer for the navigation of theme-oriented restaurants. Excellent food, reasonable prices, wildly varied choice, & they have maintained their unique selling point, the cheesecake. You can't very easily eat clothing. They needed to cultivate their menu. Hope some of Don Johnson's rig survived the unravelling of the planet.
I had all that stuff. The t-shirts, the billowing pants & jackets. I think I was hypnotized.
Imagine what's being done to the young now, that was only one hour per week!
