2k 12 historic challenge game mode had black&white screens (they also added jumpball after halftime if i remember correctly)

I’ve was able to see MJ 255 times on the court while I was growing up. Thanks Grandma for the season tickets. The day I graduated 8th grade, my family took me to Michael Jordan’s Restaurant. He just happened to be there and he signed the North Carolina jersey I was wearing and still have it to this day. I’ve seen it all, from the Windy City classic when the white Sox played the cubs, from when he made 13 shots in a row in game 2 of the 1991 finals. Then the Shrug, “The Bomb” which is what is chicagoians calll the shot he made to win the game vs the Pistons at that start of the 92-93 season. I’ve witnessed and experienced it all. Greatest time of my life!!!

Buy a PS3. I'm playing it right now. Runs laps around this. Actual MJ jumpshot. Actual Air Jordan beautiful Layups. Actual contact sticking tongue out feels like the 90s dunks. Do it. Will be cheaper than pre ordering this junk for 150$ plus tax.

I hope the in ganme mechanics are like the ones in this trailer. Its fluidity is insane! It would finally be a realistic basketball game. But I dont keep my hopes too high, after all is 2k, and they always launch the same game

That last scene gave me chills a lil bit lol. Let’s just hope the gameplay matches the hype
I mean u can already get an idea on how the gameplay will be based on this video. They seemed to improve the movements, but it's the definitely the same game engine they've been using for centuries. There's still some signs of robotic/stiffness in some of the movements. I think some of the scenes here were pre rendered and not the real gameplay. I just hope that they improve AI team play much better. Especially fast breaks and transition Ds. I'm tired of AIs stopping @ the 3pt line or midrange when they can easily drive to the basket.

Yeah its obvious that they shot these sequences with 10 Players on the court and the last shot sequence, it is clearly not gameplay 🙄but still looks cool

Fun fact: In the Flu Game for 2K11’s Jordan Challenge, MJ was actually wearing the Flu Game shoes in game.

It would make the Jordan Challenge much more immersive if those cutscenes from the challenges are in the game and not just trailer exclusive. From an epic cutscene of the iconic first pump after the jump shot if timed just right for a green release, to the reenactment of locker room dramatics from those actual games.
I've replayed this video 5 times in a row, game looks so good!

that jordan snatchback animation at 1:19 might be the most realistic sports animation ive ever seen in a game that looked so natural, wow how far weve come.

MJ moved so different, poetry in motion, that no matter who you get to mocap as MJ you couldn't replicate the finesse and aerial artistry he had. Heck even his shot mechanics and his insane first step. Why is MJ's torso so long in this?

@@Sedias23 no doubt but when i say “good” i really mean a 2k that i dont get bored playing after the first 3 months and end up switching to myteam and only playing park rec ect once or twice here and there the rest of the year or playing other games that come out. The last 2k to me that i felt i could play all the time was 2k19 and 21 (both gens).

I hope they offer more challenges, because as I remember, they are just a few picks of the most important highlights of Jordan's career that they include in the last one. Like outscoring the jordan stopper, getting a certain point where he got flu.
They should include these kind of features for every release moving forward for legends such as Kobe, Bird, Shaq, etc.
