  • We have made it to Peru’s glowing coast- a place where golden yellow deserts meet sparkling blue waters. We had ourselves one full day to explore Paracas, and we decided to spend it enjoying a boat tour to the Poor Man’s Galapagos and venturing through the Paracas National Reserve. Visiting a fishing town meant delicious seafood, and we surely took advantage of it all. We tried ceviche for the first time in Peru, followed by a number of outstanding seaside dishes. With full bellies and happy hearts, we concluded our time in Paracas and headed back towards Lima, Peru, the city where all our international travel began. 🇵🇪

    If you’re trying ceviche and tirade to again, I would recommend eating it with a spoon. The reason is because a fork dries out the leche de tigre or liquid while a spoon is still absorbing it so the texture is still like a sponge.

And Lambayeque where are the royal tombs of Señor de Sipan and another estructures of the Moche and Chimu. The fortress of Kuelap in Amazonas department (Moyobamba), in short the is much to see

    Planning to stay 2 weeks in Lima, Peru, in order to book with Bus Hop Peru, do I need to book a hotel in Lima, Peru for 2 weeks during my stay, or do I have to book my hotel in different places. Thanks! Your time is greatly appreciated. You're both great!

    • @andrewj9831
      @andrewj9831 2 роки тому +1

      Peru Hop has a daily route. In 2019 I started in Lima, and used Peru Hop to get me to Cusco before flying back to Lima. Peru Hop you schedule a seat on the bus based on your schedule, so you can spend 1 day or X days. When I went I loosely planned my hotels/hostels based on my schedule, and I went from Lima to Cusco in roughly 8 days, but can be done in 5 days, I think.

    That was a pricy ceviche tbh, a 40 soles ceviche is considered expensive here in Lima, but it looks like it worth it. You can make tiradito with different sauces, you can even make it with just lime, the difference from ceviche is some ingredients and the cut, that one was "tiradito with aji amarillo sauce" (I prefer the tiradito too, you can make miracles with aji amarillo).

    • @ChadandClaire
      @ChadandClaire  3 роки тому

      We agree! It was definitely expensive by Peruvian standards, but still tasted delicious! Aji Amarillo is such an amazing flavor! We love it!

      Hey Irene! We soak up a lot of information from a variety of places. We learned about the island tour through our bus company “Peru hop” and our own research. We then look at reviews on google maps in order to determine restaurants to eat at👍
      We can definitely go more in depth about our planning process in a future video.
