    How you solved the 5647 multiply 75 divide by 101

    • @AbhayBhadoriya2807
      @AbhayBhadoriya2807 11 місяців тому

      We have ( 5647 × 75 ) / 101
      Since 101×56 = 5656
      5656-5647 = neg. Remainder 9 ( -9 )
      Similarly when u divide 75 by 101 we will get neg. Remainder of -26
      -9 × -26 = 234 / 101 leaves 32 remainder
      Alternately.. you can solve by taking positive remainders
      We have (5647 × 75 ) / 101
      5647 ÷ 101 -> Quotient = 55 , Remainder= 92
      75 ÷ 101 -> Quotient = 0 , Remainder= 75
      ( 92 × 75 ) / 101
      This also gives remainder - 32 ( this method will taker longer time to calculate)

    Sir in Question "5647" question, if 10^4/101 is giving the remainder +1 and this is true for 10^4k/101, then why 10^2k/101 is not following this pattern?

    • @chaitanyathyagi7360
      @chaitanyathyagi7360 4 роки тому +1

      10^2/ 101 will give a remainder of -1, so when you square it,i.e it becomes 10^4, now the remainder becomes +1. so 10^2k will always give a negative remainder if the k is an odd number. and it will always return a positive remainder if k is an even number. say 10^6 will leave a remainder of -1 , and say 10^8 will leave 1 as remainder. Remember every multiple of 4 is a multiple of 2 but every multiple of 2 is not necessarily a multiple of 4.

    • @chaitanyathyagi7360
      @chaitanyathyagi7360 4 роки тому +2

      I'll tell you the best way to solve this question. 10^4 will give a remainder of 1 everytime . so you break 56475647.... in groups of 4 , since there are 300 digits and 300 is perfectly divisible by 4, you can have (75*5647)/101. it looks complicated but it's not.

When the remainder you get is negative and there is no way to get a positive remainder, you have to add the new found remainder with the divisor, which in this case is 101.

      if you divide 100 by 101 you will get a reminder of -1 and as sir said in previous lecture if the reminder is -1 then it will be -1 alternatively e.g. 10^2 =-1, next 10^2 = +1( to understand why it is so, you should refer lecture 1)........now if you divide 10000 by 101 you will get a reminder of +1 so all pairs of 10^4 will be giving +1 as reminder

      It's just hit and trail method as they have already said you have to find any one value of X or Y, by finding this you will be able to get the answer of 7X + 6 or 3Y + 1
      And your final result after putting value of x or y or both, will be the answer of the question.
      So 13 is the final answer of the problem.
