Question, I feel I have an idea that can fill a void but I'm not certain that it may have a great enough appeal to the market I would like to target. Would you suggest doing sample mockups or even physical samples to get feedback from those I may want to target, or even those outside my proposed market?
I would say do a sample mock up first. You don't want to invest money into something you're not sure will or will not have traction. If your research finds there is an interest in that void you're looking fill then I say make physical samples as you next step.
