Thx!, and thank YOU for the awesome content. My grandfather passed away before he got to teach me much more than the very basics of lathe operation, and I've learned so much watching your channel.

Congratulations on 2 years. Time sure flies by fast. Thanks for the fascinating back stories. I watch a ton of you tube as well, all kinds of subjects, and I not surprisingly I follow every one of the recommendations you noted. Maybe that is why YT finally introduced me to your channel. 👍👍😎👍👍.

Thank you, and thx so much for your comment. I was wondering if some of my suggestions were a little too left field for many of the subscribers here, but they're all such great channels in their own way. I just found another one that blew me away pretty quickly that *IS* a 3-d printing channel. Checkout "SunShine" if you haven't yet. That guy is sharp. I feel dumb when I watch his videos. He looks at every problem as a new challenge and just embraces it. The solutions he comes up with are amazing.

@@FunctionalPrintFriday - Thanks - I'll check out SunShine as I haven't seen him yet. I'm certain if you find him worth your time I NEED to follow him as well.

What ever dust collection you do for your sander and grinder. Make sure you don’t mix wood dust with metal dust. Hot sparks into fine wood dust is extremely dangerous. Small dedicated shop vac. For your metal working stuff.

Thank you for answering all my questions. I was hoping you would not think they are trivial or obvious. You are very gracious indeed. And you did a thorough job of answering all of them. I especially appreciate the way you explained the lettering technique. I need work on that one. Another viewer says many of the links to your favorite channels did not work. I checked every one of them, they all worked for me. So, I am not sure what would cause that. Congratulations on your second-year mark! And thanks again for the answers.

I fall victim to the hammer and nail problem a lot. Sometimes, instead of taking 20,000 measurements, firing up CAD, and printing about 5 drafts before I get the fitment I need, I can just run down to the hardware store and buy what I need for $2. I need to start thinking outside of the box. Instead of trying to redesign an existing solution, I need to try to recognize problems that have no solution.

Just found your channel and love the content. I learned AutoCAD many years ago and now have a 3D printer and have fun making things as well. I am amazed what you come up with each week and for me that’s right on par with what I enjoy watching.

Congrats on your 2 year mark! I got myself a Bambu P1S after watching various videos including yours and it's a breath of fresh air. Having so much fun with it.

thx! they're like easy-mode for 3d printing, and after years of a lot of hard work, I'm fine with that :)

I discovered your channel recently, and have been watching quite a few of your backlogged videos. Honestly, the thing that got me on your channel was the Bambu X1 carbon and A1 content. I ended up buying an X1 Carbon I’m a maker, and I enjoy watching all sort of making content. Personally, I would love to see your videos branch out to cover integrating, 3-D printing, and your other tools, such as your mill and lathe. Adam Savage tested is one of my favorite channels, and I love seeing process sort of videos as it helps me as a maker.

Personally, I feel inspired to do more of my own functional prints and fixes around the house when watching your videos. I’d have no problem with you showing the stuff you’re currently passionate about, but I also like variety so maybe mixing in some of the other things between them, here and there. Keep it going!

2 Years Congratulations. I just like the ideal of the channel. I hate trinkets and junk - future landfill. I also like you're using your printer like a tool rather than just fiddling with settings. I find it a great complimentary technology to any type of maker type probably except blacksmithing.

I use up the end of rolls of filament by making talon style utility knives.. Great give aways and my buddies pilfer any they see laying round

Not to be nosy, but is your workshop for business or personal use? The saying goes the man with the most toys at the end wins. I think you’ve already won. 👍
