I remember this album upon it's release. I was in primary school then. It was summer, the sun was very bright and the trees so green! And the odour of summer!!!! On my way back from school there was a bar, where the barman spun this album all the time. He also put the album cover on top of the turntable, so we could see how beautiful it was... So fresh memories!
This is one brilliant album. I was at school when The Best Disco In Town single was released. I heard it on the radio and then on Top of The Pops with their dancers. I went out and bought this single, played it at home and was disappointed as half the medley was missing. I then noticed that side two had part two. I put this on and could then hear the second part of the medley. My young mind was very confused by this turn of events. I was unaware of extended album versions at this time but soon would be. I now have a copy in my collection of this promotional 7" that the radio was playing, it's a 3.55 minute version with the full medley in it. Listening to it now you can hear a not too professional join. The extra song which was unknown to me was interesting. Best of all was though was the live performances, especially the extra long Best Disco In Town with its Live vocals and a band too. What a fantastic treat!
Did you realize when they sing fly robin fly the word 'robin' sounds cutted? I'm listening to a mp3 I have here, it's the same thing...Ritchie Family is one of my favourite groups!

Crispy and Company 1975 version of Brazil on the Creole label, is a much better version. Must say this version sounds alright live.
