Probably one of the most violent Lego sets that isn't 18+, like this is a 6+ set and is literally a scene where a character gets eaten, very suprising and I love it.
Best set of the whole line. Best price, new dinosaur, full vehicle, good side build, iconic scene and 2 separate licenses (Jeep and Barbasol).
It's insane to think that this licensed set has two sub licenses and they're only selling it for 20 USD
Am I being pedantic or just wrong? Isn't it three separate licenses, as Jurassic Park is also a license?
Is it weird that I find this to be the best Jurassic Park set out of the wave? While it's a small set, I can't find a single bad thing about this.
Only thing missing is a working winch! Wonderful set.
$20??? That's an amazing price! I want this mostly for the jeep. I want to put it right next to my other Speed Champions movie vehicles

For $20 this is going to be an immediate pickup for me. Looks fantastic.
This set is a surprisingly great deal for 20 USD, especially for a theme like Jurassic Park/World where the dinosaurs always bump up the prices of the sets. It may not be a perfect set, but certainly one of the better deals out there.

This is a great set for that price. This Jeep may be simpeler in build compared to the other one, but both Jeeps look good together

Fantastic set, and I'm enjoying this whole wave of Jurassic Park sets. Particularly pleasing to see some of the characters in new forms that were only available in limited sets before.
A car, a dino, and a nice terrain side build for $20 in 2023. Sold. I think this will be a very successful set.
All you have to do is figure out how to offload the extra Jeeps and the Dilophasauruses and we finally have a cost effective way to army build a squad of Dennis Nedry’s!
I assume this is priced up in the UK to prempt the inevitable 20% discount the Jurassic sets always get sold at here because they're too expensive. It's an £18 set marked up to £21 so the retailers can still get £16.80 on sale.
It's okay if you can't get a second figure next to Nedry, just add some unknown cylinders for Muldoon to be desperately looking for...
I love the look of the bodies of both jeeps, but the width of the tyres paired with how low they are ruin them slightly. Similar to the jurassic world unimog set where the body was ace but the axles were to low and blocky, deffo want to get this and fix them hahaha
This is the only set I've been able to find in-store myself so far and I think it's great especially for the price and for such an iconic scene.

This is the best set out of the entire wave. they're all great, but this one is the best in my opinion. affordable, iconic, and very well designed. Not onlu do you get the smaller, film accurate Dilophosaurus, you also get Nedry in his iconic yellow raincoat, the exclusive, printed Barbasol can, the East dock sign, and best of all, The amazing muddy Jeep Wrangler
Fantastic looking set at a reasonable price! That's brilliant, and very rare. Will get this one.
The only thing this set is missing is a proper winch instead of the suggestion of one. To meet its budget, it might not have been feasible or perhaps it was deemed too advanced for its 6+ age range. It's not a big deal, it just would have been nice. It's still a fantastic set though.

Picked this up as soon as it hit the shelves. Build was straight forward. My barbasol can was printed upside down. 😂 I went back and bought two more. The cans were normal.

This is essentially speed champions before the price hike WITH more extras.
Prefer the other Wrangler however.
Very personal input from me, since the dilophosaurus from JP is an old favorite, but i'm so so pleased with this new color/print. The old version of this smaller Dilophosaurus mold was nice but very plain, I dont think it used any prints besides the eyes - so the teeth were left unpainted. Seeing it in this new paint, with the patterns and the frills and the teeth, its just so special. As well as Nedry and the barbasol can and the whole scene. And for 20 BUCKS. Man, just a phenomenal set. We need more gems like this set nowadays.
Anyone else think the jeep sits to low? I took the spare parts i had left and lifted it half a brick higher and made it seem to look less like a lowered jeep. I do think it should of also included a kit for the wench and the fetch stick would of been a funny piece to add.

I really wish this one came with the Jeep from the much larger one with the tree and brachiosaurus, since I like the way that one's built to accommodate full seating for figures. It /should/ be a pretty easy change though, since they almost have identical livery and you just need to build the sides out of the 2x6 panels. I kind of wonder why they even made them so slightly differently such that this one is just that tiny bit worse.
Far fewer and cheaper parts on this one. $20 set vs $90 set, cost cutting has to happen. I prefer the other Jeep, but that style would be more like $30
This set was totally not on my radar, but I went into the lego store after a bad day at work for an impulse buy. One of the employees suggested this. I didn't end up getting it that time, but I will!
I actually don't have anything that I can say that is inaccurate bout this one, good job LEGO.
I've only been a lot harsher on the JP sets purely because the OG Jurassic Park is one of my all time favourite movies & I know this movie rather well so I'm being a lot more nit-picky then I am usually am with most LEGO sets

This is one set where I think the details, specifically the mud, would have actually looked batter as stickers!

However, I didn't feel that "snap" that I'm accustomed to feeling while assembling.
Felt like the connections were a bit...."soft"....?.
$20 for this is great! I could see LEGO charging that for the Jeep itself! But, we've also got a dino, figure, and great little side build with iconic stuff!

Im probably the only one that this bothers but why the round headlights on this set? I know the iconic look of the yj squares is trademarked but they got it in the other set perfectly fine and it looks amazing
They should have called it 'Nedri being eaten alive'. But I guess it doesn't involve war gear, so it is still pretty much ok for the little ones to play their favourite scene out in real (Lego) life. 😂

Not a massive fan sadly. The front wheel arches on the jeep are too wide compared with the rest of it and it doesn't look right. Seems a shame when a lot of fan versions got it right

What's with all the frogs?
I believe because in the movie, it was explained the DNA was so ancient that there were gaps in it, and the scientists filled in the gaps with frog DNA. Wasn't expecting LEGO to make a running gag out of it though heh.

We've been so spoiled by Speed Champions that these Jeeps being kinda wonky in their proportions really put me off. I made a custom JP Jeep a few years ago and I still prefer that over both of the new official Jeeps
I think it’s so cheap because the dilophosaurus is such a small dinosaur compared to the others

I think it is because the Jurassic Park dinosaurs had the gaps in their DNA filled in with frog DNA haha.
In Jurassic Park, frog DNA was used to complete the geno code of the dinosaurs.
All the new wave JP sets have 1 frog used for each of the builds to either represent shaving cream, a part of a tree, etc.
LEGO is getting so much use out of that frog mold.

20 bucks is cheap?
I mean the Jeep is similar in size to the Speed Champions sets which are $25, although because the Jeep here is kinda simplified, I'd see it as a $20 car set if it's on its own. The Dilophosaurus and side build probably would've been $10. Many many of us expected this set to cost in the 30s range, knowing Lego's pricing. $20 in the US is surprisingly good.

First set in a while where I've seen the price and thought "that's pretty fair".
Actually just barely worth the money.
It's literally on the price point if you like jurassic park. 19.99. This clearly isn't a 15 dollar set and normally they would mark up to 24.99.
I'm getting this set and the 50$ ford explorer Trycerotops set too. I'm so happy they made the Jurassic park trucks and jeep in sets and these iconic scenes. Great job.
