- Donald Trump is accused of falsifying business records to conceal the alleged “hush money” payment to porn star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election, to stop her talking of an affair she says she had with him. He denies the charges.
Prosecutors have documents showing that Michael Cohen, a lawyer for Trump at the time, made a $130,000 payment to Daniels and was then reimbursed by the Trump Organisation, which marked it down as a legal expense. They have records of phone calls Cohen made to Trump at the time. But they need Cohen to tell the jury what was said.
Cohen, 57, has not been waiting quietly in the wings. He has a podcast, Mea Culpa, and appears regularly on another, called Political Beatdown. You can also find him hosting a nightly livestream on TikTok.

Biden stutters and has to speak slower to formulate his words. With age, Biden is slowing down but he still gets there. He is slow but remains coherent.
Trump has onset dementia. He has word finding difficulties. He uses the wrong words within his sentences. He repeats his sentences, not just once, but on some occasions two or three times. He also loses track of what he intended to say and goes off at a tangent into a complete ramble. His cognition is at a greater impairment level than Bidens.
I've spent 25 years working with the elderly, supporting people with dementia.
Bidens decline is slower than Trumps. Biden speech will remain quiet and slow. But he still has the mental capacity to make decisions. Trump is unable to take on board information. His emotional beliefs overpower him, preventing him from acknowledging factual information , weighing up situations and options. He lacks objectivity. Something which is essential for a president. If we come back in a couple of years, Trumps cognition is going to be far worse than Bidens. I am from the UK, and merely giving a perspective from over the pond.

This was NOT a legal expense or a business expense and it was NOT for legal services. It was the repayment of a personal loan. If you were a lawyer or an accountant you would know this.
