This 1971 Scout II has been 'slightly' modified.
This 4x4 rig has a custom stretched wheelbase in front and rear, sitting on a Dana 60 axle in the front and a 14 bolt, full float axle in the rear. The rear differential is locked up by a Detroit locker. The front includes a Lock right differential locker.
Granny 4Lo-Lo is achieved with a 203/205 doubler tcase and an SM465 4 speed transmission...

Nice video, and a awesome build on that scout. Let the camera roll for a bit the constant jumping around all over from scene to scene makes the video kinda ruff to watch. its really hard to follow the trail with the truck.
I'm looking at 1973 Scout axles for my 95 Geo Tracker. Anyone know if they would be a good fit. They have the same bolt pattern. But I'm,think ing with 36 or bigger tires I might need to go stronger???
If you’re sticking with the factory motor and transmission on the tracker, you might want to figure out the axle gearing you want 1st. My tracker was 5.12 stock. Was going to put Dana 44s under it, but we can’t gear those as low as I wanted, so it’s getting a dana 60 and 70...ua-cam.com/video/1uO2wybanPk/v-deo.html

You list 'custom leaf springs". Could you provide details? I'm about to swap in the same setup d60/14 bolt and currently only have stock Scout II springs all the way around. Some say they will work but I'd feel better running some 3". Already installed a RS on the front but for 2" springs so that will have to come out. I can replace the rear of the RS with smaller spacers to accommodate 3". Just trying to figure out what springs I can run and what mods I'll need to do to spring hangers, etc.
Rears are chevy 62s and the fronts are a 56 inch long front with the shackle reversal up front and new hangers in the rear
