To paraphrase, Al said “Dave is one of the greatest workers of all time, he’s garnered a six figure income off of wrestling for two or three decades but has never had a single match”. Also, wrestling is very subjective. The things I like, you may not care for and vice versa. Which is perfectly fine. Meltzer has given 5 star ratings to a few matches that I, quite frankly, thought were boring (won’t say which ones, don’t want to start a debate) but one of my favorite matches ever (WCW vs. nWo War Games 1996) is a match that I believe Dave rated 1.5 stars, which in his opinion is below average.
