- A short video welcome to the Wensleydale Railway in North Yorkshire. A full 16 miles of railway line running through the beautiful scenery of the Dales, operated by a dedicated & friendly team of volunteers.

This line has hosted many events over the years when I started Volunteering in 2006: Leyburn's 1940's weekend, Food and Drink Festival and Wensleyale Festival. But in Christmas 2019 it hosted it's biggest - The Polar Express. That's why this line will always surprise the best of us in right into the 21st Century.

I think it is about time we got 80105 back. But that is if the engine has finished it's overhaul though.
Good video, i went there when i stayed in a cottage recently in Middleham, was a shame there was no steam running
