Great video! I just got the same set up but with #3 limbs about 2 months ago and I can’t believe how well it shoots. After 3 years with a 59 Kodiak I just sold it and bought a second mag riser haha.
Luckily I caught 3rivers as soon as they got a resupply, and then I finally found some limbs on big Jim’s website. When I ordered them, it was the only places I found that had them in stock. Hopefully you can find one soon cause it sure is a sweet bow!
I would definitely get the #3 limbs. It depends on how long you want the bow, or if you prefer the shorter or longer riser. The A riser with #3 limbs is 60” and the B riser with #3 limbs is 64” so it just depends on what you’d prefer for bow length.
Buddy that works at my bow shop bought one but ended up hating it. Something about the shelf and torquing the grip in his hand. Maybe it was his shooting form or the bow didn't fit him that well. Do you like that quiver?
I love that quiver. It’s a selway. That bows my favorite one that I’ve shot, but it fits me perfectly. With the way I grip the bow, the grip fits the exact way I want it too. It’s not flat like the longbows, but it’s not high wrist neither. It just sits perfect in my hand.
@@feelthespiritofthewild So many good bows out there. I do like my DAS DX5 riser with bosen longbow limbs. I also shoot a couple of cheap black hunter longbows that I found shot better for me than my Bearpaw mohawk longbow that is a 800.00 bow. I have never tried a bow quiver only a hip quiver that I attach to the tree in the stand.
I Praise Fred Bear for everything he's done for Archery ! But I wouldn't spend the money on this bow , just for the fact , that you got too buy there limbs . You can buy Great Quality ILF riser for less money and have hundreds of limb options ! Archery Geek gave a review of this bow and didn't give it a thumbs up ! Fred Eichler left a better bow company just to get his name on a bow and more Money for endorsements . The Hoyt Satora is a lot Better bow and it's ILF ! Just My Opinion ! I’d say in general the Hoyt satori is a better bow, but I just don’t really want a modern aluminum riser. I got the bear mag because it was as close as you can get to that vintage bow without buying a wooden bow. Plus for me, the grip plays a big roll as well and most ilf’s have a very high wrist grip and I can’t shoot those worth a darn. Thanks for watching!
@@feelthespiritofthewild I have wooden ILF risers in 15",17",19",21" and 23", I can shoot them better than a aluminum ILF riser , they fill like a Bear Grizzly or Kodiak grip in the hand !
I’ve actually shot it a few times bare finger and it does shoot nice that way. The first time I took it rabbit hunting it was around 30 degrees so I just had fingerless gloves and shot bare finger.

No, the eichler is a little more fancy, and a little more expensive. The eichler is more like a compound riser.

Try closing your hook tighter.Through the shot to keep from hitting your arm

@@Steelhorse814 I’m not a big fan of the Kodiak or grizzly because the grips too high wrist for me. The grip on the mag is like my Goldilocks.

And doing so long term will cause nerve damage, hence why the vast majority of trad archers use a tab or glove.
