Green lanterns are actually pretty badass. The best Green lantern was so powerful that he could create constructs that embodied the full color spectrum and looked like their real life counterparts. He could create real machine guns, heavy artillery, PEOPLE(well, replicas of them), etc. They're basically only limited by their weakness to yellow objects, their willpower, and their imaginations.
