I remember last year everybody was saying if the Jets made it through the first seven games at three wins four losses or best case scenario four wins three losses they would be in good shape! That was with Aaron Rodgers, they went four and three with Zack Wilson

Jets will be good , they can be great if the O line can stay healthy and Rodgers can play close to 2021 season. Jets won 7 games last year with terrible QB play and makeshift O line.
Id take this schedule over recent schedules any day.
The biggest challenge is the logistics…but it does take a toll if you have less days to recover. And health/durability is a big concern for the team.
Tough final stretch but bye week 12 helps. Plus, cold weather Bills game is not bad with that defense.
Actually TB in his 1st year at TB was holding on to the ball a lot and got sacked a lot. For Tom things changed after the bye week.

This year definetly feels more spread out in terms of opponent difficulty. Last few years have just been 4-8 game gauntlets vs playoff teams.

Not AR's fan but I don't bet against him. There is a reason why he was regular seasons MVP and king. Our team never want to face him although he likely benefited partially due to cold weather in Green Bay that other teams weren't accustomed to.
that is a brutal beginning to the season. Rodgers with his injury, then you go to the OL with Smith's history as well as AVT. team gonna need a miracle to make it through unscathed.

If they are any good, they start 4-1 and above 500 half way. If they play well and beat teams like the Dolphins once they only have 6 losses given last year's teams. They have 5 odd hour games in their first 5, the first 4 weeks coming off a long break it should not matter, the 3 out of 5 going into November if they still are standing could have an effect. Overseas followed by a bye or Monday should be mandatory, Thursday, London, Monday might be ideal though prime time viewers may tune out a bad team tanking with Jodan Travis.

This is the season Saleh gets fired. The last 6 games are brutal. They could easily go 0-6 during that stretch or 2-4. Add in that the Jets have to face the Bills, Steelers and Texans in the middle of the season, I think it's over for Saleh.

Look at the defense’s performance in recent years. They will be fresher with a capable qb extending drives. Injury to multiple key positions (qb, running back, wr) is the only way the Jets don’t make it to that post season.

I am THRILLED that the Jets have 7 stand alone games.
But...
I have to question the root cause for the team having more stand alone games than ALL the division winners.
This can be viewed as VERY insulting to teams that struggled to make the playoffs...and win a playoff game ie...the Texans...or teams that were decimated by injuries....and STILL made the playoffs...ie..Browns.
The NFL is awarding their efforts by showcasing a 7-10 team...with an aged QB....in the largest media market.
And you guys are fusing over the schedule of a TOTALLY non-deserving team.
So let's call it what it is...
A revenue grab by the NFL...and a THRILLED undeserving owner that is Robert W. Johnson.
