I think 11-6 is bare minimum what this team should do. I don't see the Jets losing to the Bills at all, we gave the Bills all they could handle with a bad line and Zach Wilson at QB. I don't see the Jets losing to Miami at all, paper champion team in my opinion. I don't see the Jets losing to Pittsburgh. Colts and Rams, edge to the Jets. I can see the team dropping a couple of games maybe... 13-4 sounds about right.
You know what's funny, I was curious to see what steelers fans think about that game. All the jets fans predicting the schedule say that's a loss. And all the steelers fans predicting their record also think that's a loss for them lol

I have us winning 12 games but wouldn’t be surprised if we win more. Can’t take any team for granted but this schedule is highly favorable even with the first 3 games being in 11days. I like our week 1 matchup & even though Purdy is no scrub he has never really had to take a game over when things didn’t go well & he’s tried before. Everyone knows if Christian McCaffrey isn’t running all over the place & can’t get going Purdy tends to struggle. Also keep D. Samuels out the mix running & force them to pass & let our defense eat! It’ll be a tough one for sure, Go JETS!!

@@3MrNiceGuy15 strictly health. The defense is elite offense just needs to produce this is by no means a difficult schedule. We won 7 games with horrible QB. We can’t win 4 or 5 more with a real QB?

You're a very brave man for making schedule predictions. This team has been so inconsistent over the past few years that I don't even bother making any predictions anymore. Every game is a huge question mark, as far as i'm concerned, until they start showing me something on the field. As an example let's just take a look at last season: we won games we should have lost by a very close margin, we got blown out , we lost by 1 or 2 pts, we had the rare game where we looked like world beaters, and we won games where we played super ugly.

Not necessarily. Last year, he went down and we were stuck with Zach. Not this time. Yeah, they’re rookies but proven QBs that played in intense games. If that’s the case then the O lines going to have to step it up and receivers have to do some serious separations but I’m more confident about our backups now than ever before.

Then next year I’ll say we have a chance at the playoffs. This organization is just very bad. Plus our offensive coaching has been a major problem for many years, and Hackett hasn’t had a winning season in 3 years!

I agree, I think, like in 2010, the Jets lose the opener, but then it’s followed by a string of victories with how easy the schedule gets.

The Jets will end up playing for a playoff spot the final 2 weeks of the season . They have major chemistry issues on the offense, especially o-line.
Jets should make the playoffs this season. Hope they can go deep in the playoffs. That would be an improvement over the last ten seasons.

11 wins should be our floor imo. Get to 11, and any more are bonus! Would love to finish 12-5 and think we have an excellent chance at doing so, ESPECIALLY if we win week 1. Just have to pray guys like Rodgers, Williams, Smith, Breece and AVT can remain healthy.
I think if we can keep it close with SF we can win it. The same way we almost beat KC last year. If we keep it close we can definitely start the season 1-0

When u look at these games on paper strictly just comparing rosters we should win like 12 games but my entire lifetime it’s been a struggle to get like 6 or 7 wins so it’s hard for me to imagine. But if u take past failures out of it and really just compare teams this has to be at least 10 wins
Well there so many variables in football I do not like predicting anything we are one injury away from picking in the top10 once again.
I agree with just about everything you said. The 49er game, I believe, hinges on our defense putting so much pressure on Purdue, he won’t be able to light up the scoreboard. So it could be a very low scoring game going either way.

I’m doubtful are offensive line will stay healthy all season. I also have concerns about the new guard Simpson, he mite suck a little. I really wish we would have drafted a talented guard. We mite be in trouble if avt goes down.

I like 11-6 as a prediction. The only games that seem like logical losses are @Niners, @Bills, @Dolphins and @Steelers. Assuming Rodgers plays all 17 games, I think the floor of 10 wins and a ceiling of 13 or so isn't totally crazy

My heart says 16-1 loss week 7. In reality 11-6 I will take either scared to believe just yet. A LOT OF PAIN HERE.
If everyone is healthy, my floor is 9-8, my ceiling is 13-4. Realistically I can see this Jets team winning 11 or 12 games and that'll be enough to not only win the AFC East, but to also grab a 2 or 3 seed in the AFC because we know the Chiefs are getting the 1 seed.
I say the Chiefs get the 1 seed because I don't see them not hosting an AFC Championship Game at home in consecutive years. This'll definitely be inevitable if they beat both Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow to start the season.
I think the AFC South matchups are going to be the trickiest to predict as a Jets fan, even more trickier than our divisional matchups. I'll say they'll go like 2-2 or 3-1 against the AFC South and they'll go 4-2 or 5-1 in the AFC East (sweep NE, split with BUF and/or MIA)
I said we gonna finish 12-5 I believe with the defense we have and the offensive line can protect Rodgers giving him enough time to throw to these receivers they gonna be alright

The only losses I agree with is the 49ers and maybe a split with mia if they decide to rest starters week 18. I don't see the steelers, and I don't see the cards. We have a defense that can easily go toe for toe with pit and easily overpower AZ. Then add that pit' best qb on roster is mr "let's ride" vs. our refreshed offense. Arizona can not score band for band with our offense either. Rams... is entirely on a what if, using season for season hindsight teams like them won't do well at that time of the year on the east coast. The bills get swept because ever since that afc championship vs kc each year after buffalo looks worse and worse. This year they no longer have their #1 wr, have questions of defense and a run game that runs on josh allen half the time. 15-2/14-3 should be expected, no more excuses, no "o but it's the jets", it's a new season with all the resources back on the table. This is a tip 5 defensive unit with a top 5 potential offense vs a division on the decline and the weaker members of the nfc (minus SF and then la when healthy).

The jets 11-6 but miami taking a step back sorry but miami reloaded the only players that went that were studs were christian wilkins and robert hunt a guard every other position was an upgrade and lastly the dolphins didn't have a 3rd reciever they have one now in beckem and a recieving TE in johnnu smith.
Yeah but predicting a split is respectable. Given the Jets roster, it would be weird to predict they get swept by the Dolphins again. That definitely could happen, we've seen it happen every time against Tua specifically. But no respectable Jets fan is going to be so down on their team that they predict a sweep by the division rival given the Jets lineup.
The dolphins are in a world of trouble without wilkins. If I was a dolphins fan I would have completely lost my mind. The jets are gonna punish them both games.

The Dolphins lost Robert Hunt rg Van Ginkle lb Christian Wilkins dl Emanuel Ogbah DL Jerome Baker lb Xavier Howard cb . The Dolphins haven't even replaced rg Robert Hunt. The Dolphins think that Isaiah Wynn is their lg but he is just a backup that is available sparsely due to injury history, but st least we did get an ot.in the second round. Dolphins will start off 0-3 then win 4 and be 4-3.
