Hi Mike. I took a wooden dowel and drilled a hole in the centre and glued in a piece of stainless rod slightly smaller than the size as the injector nozzle. I then used a hole punch on some emery cloth and glued it on the dowel end. I also place a tiny bit of cv joint grease to the stainless rod to catch any grit and filings. But I think it would work much better in conjunction with your tool.
I made a tool like that too, turned a piece of steel rod down in the lathe until it was a nice fit and then used aerosol contact adhesive to glue a piece of emery cloth on the end!
@tommepham2267 Cool, a lathe can be very useful for making simple tools. I probably should have made a complete steel tool which would be better, but I was in a rush and just grabbed what was close at hand at the time.
Quite surprised you mentioned the political prisoner TR, goes to show you're keeping up with current events and the shitshow of our government, good to hear Castro is going but who will replace him ?
Right tool for the job!

Sounds like a good home made tool!

And always check your washers! Nice tip Mike.
Thanks 👍
Another great tip Mike. Have a end mill on order now.
Glad I could help!
I read that at first as 'cleaning ejector seats'.
Great tip, though.
Glad it helped
Just the need to clean an EJECTOR seat boggles the mind, I suspect a high pressure hose and some towels?😂
That's just like cutting tap seats, most new taps have ceramic cartridges now so it's just swap them out now.
Yeap same idea - these seats were pretty pitted and bound to leak…
Why didn't you show the handling of this tool ?
Well - all you have to do is turn it lightly 1/4 turn..
You done a body lift/chassis swap video???
No - I stopped doing restorations like that a long time ago
Why not clean the seat before you fit the head so theres no chance of debris dropping in to the cylinder,
You can but grease traps the shavings as there is no cut on the centre of the tool
@@BritannicaRestorations Grease is the word.
Thanks, Mr Travolta!
Often the injectors come out without removing the head.

Another globalist...
@@BritannicaRestorations I reckon you are spot on, hell bent on the destruction of the western world.
Out of the frying pan.....
@@BritannicaRestorations how big is the fire lol
