Iron Maiden - That Girl on Jackson Adrian Smith San Dimas SDX by Eamon O'Neill

- This is my version of 'That Girl', as recorded by Iron Maiden in 1986. The song was the B Side to the Somewhere in Time single 'Stranger in A Strange Land'. All instruments are played by Eamon O'Neill. There are four guitar harmonies, one lead guitar track and two rhythm guitar tracks. The recording was made using Jackson Adrian Smith SDX and Ibanez Prestige guitar played through a Digitech RP500. Bass parts played on Billy Sheehan's Yamaha Bass as seen on my 'That Metal Show' video. Drum Parts programmed on Alesis drum machine.

Cover from a cover, actually. The original is from FM’s ‘Indiscreet’ album from 1986. Maiden covered it the same year and instantly metalized and Maidenized it! I actually prefer the Maiden version over the FM version, since the whole ‘Indiscreet’ album suffered from mediocre production despite having very good songs on it. Maiden fans, and especially fans of ‘Somewhere..’ should definitely give the FM album a spin. Great work On the cover Eamon! You nailed the sound! 🎸

margin .annihilator stretch your strings when you change them always. Sometimes you have to do it twice that's all there is to it with floyds.
