I'm pretty sure it's only working because you have the Connect option on. That is considered a ride product. Not sure if drivers without the Connect option will benefit. At least that's how it appeared when I played around with it in my market last year.
Dude. I’ve been getting orders from Walmart this week that are insane! One was 76.00. One 81.00. And one for $97! Each one of those has taken me less than a half an hour to deliver Edit. I did another one for 79.00 and another for 117.00 that week but then it came to a halt unfortunately 😒
I dont know the location of this one. but usualy those prices, the weather is extreme, ie snowing, raining, windy, enough to affect the amount of drivers on the road.
I have AT&T and the shitty thing about it that Walgreens and CVS gets poor signal so if an item is unavailable I have to take a picture for substitutes and the internet is so weak it doesn’t work! Another issue is that if a substitute is more expensive it will decline the card!!!! Fuck that shit!

It's Absolutely horrible! Average offers .50 - $1 a mile. I've seen many many $7-14 for 20-30 miles. Ppl in my area taking .50 a mile stuff on Trip Radar, I can't afford to do that..

Oh and the deprecated value of your car n maintenance cost of oil change, brake change, tire change, oh and your monthly car note. You probably make 10 instead of 30
Shop and pay is garbage. Too much bad luck with those deliveries so I opted out. If you’re in the middle of the shopping and customer cancels then you get $2. A lot of times the items were not in the store as well. I’ve also had the app glitch and canceled my order because it said I wasn’t at the location when I was not only in the store with just 2 items left but also have contacted the customer regarding substitutions. Best of luck with that.
Pedro, I was out in this snow last night and today.. I never got orders with that low of mileage.. crazy orders anywhere from 12 miles up to 36 miles and most of the mileage was me getting to the store or restaurant.. the drop offs were very close to the store in a lot of cases.

I've actually done that here in texas, I went to austin once and then to san antonio once and delivered there A couple of hours in the evening time and almost paid for my vacation cost.

Our regular offers in my area of Sarasota are awful, .50-$1 a mile and ppl taking the .50 a mile BS. I can't afford to do that. I turned down at least 20 today 15-30 miles nearly all less than $1 a mile.

I definitely saw a group of bloods in the park kicking it. Lmao But I also kept getting decent orders bc I’m sure no one else was in the area. 😆 I had my taser tho in case anyone got cute. 😄 it wasn’t too bad but as an attractive female, I won’t be risking it again. better safe than sorry. They fixed it, it was part of that 'overpayment' notice they sent out last month and they actually did take money back from drivers it was bs. You can still get it by having package delivery "connect" filter on but it's rare AF now, I haven't seen it at all since Feb.

Maybe in your market. I have seen a hundred pics of my market just like that and NEVER gotten orders like that. UE is my primary $ in my market but I have never been a fan of the surge. Overall, I’m pleased with UE but when the surges come, it’s never benefited me anywhere even close to what you got there. Props to you though, makes up for all the people at home expecting us to work for free. NO TIP, NO TRIP!!

In Chicago it DOES NOT WORK anymore.....so since they let the customer reduce tips after delivery you will never see me deliver on uber

If not your not seeing surges be sure to have uberx or Uber green checked of in your filters. Without a rider option checked you won’t see the surges.
